yeah, but still you need to put the power wire out for complete shutdown and this is not very comfortable for daily usage.
I cannot expres without ivectives how disappointed I am of this box and manufacture.
I cannot understand how this could get google certification.

Previous to this box I had a Mi Box and with the Mecool, I am done with both, I'll never buy ATV devices from both brands anymore, I'm gonna try with Mygica to see how it goes.

The only problem with Mygica, is that they would announce a product, but took forever if at all to release it. Twice I had pre-ordered one of their devices, but they never produced it. Maybe this time would be different, they have two Android TV certified devices, the ATV495Max and the ATV598Max with a TV tuner built-in, I'm gonna try to purchase the latter to see how it goes.

With a normally working Android the box does not turn off completely, only goes to Stand-by. You have to pull the plug to turn it completely off, like most of these cheap chinese boxes.
My KM8 with working Android turns off normally (goes to deep stand-by) and I can turn it back on with it's remote.

Guys, just thinking maybe someone can help me verify if following can work.
Would it be possible install TWRP recovery in the box?
Let's say via original recovery I will boot into bootloader and then try to flash new recovery via adb.
Could it work without USB debugging option enebaled?

Once new recovery will be installed, maybe it will allow me to flash the older rom version that is mentioned in previous posts here.

Could you please let me know what do you think ?

There is NO TWRP recovery for KM8 box!

Btw, if a version of TWRP existed, it could be put on an SD card as an image and then boot from SD to work with it. No need to install it in the box as the replacement for original recovery...

While trying to burn it via Amlogic tool, I am getting error and I am unable to make it run.

I will try it but I have to get the male to male usb cable first, did you tell videostrong about the error message? lucky you got a reply, I've been sending messages almost everyday with no replies.

Please help, I'm stuck in step # 5 of the instructions, it says: "Hold down the standby button on the front panel, Power on the device, and connect the other
USB connector to the box, till the process bar showing up", but I don't see any progress bar, am I doing something wrong?
