Hi Guys,

I got my Box yesterday. I have been trying putting the box thought it paces.

Found quite a lot of issue.

1. Netflix the oldest version 4.XX.XX work, you try to go to version 6 and you will get an incompatibility error
2. Amazon Prime Video crashes the moment you try to play a video
3. Screen saver doesn't work at all i set the screensaver time as 5 minutes and turn off after 30 minutes of no activity both of the functions do not work.
4. I observed some HDMI sync issues as well where the image will flicker intermittently.

Hope they and fix the issues with the firmware.

1-2;I do not use NetFlix and Amazon Prime,but you right cause of Box has lot of issues!
3-ScreenSaver;doesnt work properly!(but manualy work)
4-Lip-Sync issue;same as mine!

Note;picture quality(you meant from where? such as MediaCenter or any other Player?)

Lets see how this develops bro; hoping against hope that they will improve the firmware support.
What i think it is poorly optimized if they give it time and effort it might turn out to be a great box.
Havent tried the USB 3.1 yet but hopefully it will improve.
Like my old X96 kept getting updated for about 2 years and now it is stable and good.

Keep in mind;"Type-C 3.1 Port" does not work!!

Note;I'v tried with my Type-C Adapter and not worked(they know this issue!)

They sent me msg before yesterday;they will release firmware for this issue!

Last night I worked again! and found this solution for my 1080p(10Mbit and over video files)

Player;MX Pro(v.1.10.27)
Video Files;1080p 10Mbit and over
Format;MP4/WMV/MKV/AVI

There is Decoder section on MXPro Player,selecting HW+,HW and SW

What I did;unticked all HW+ and HW Decoding functions!! and ticked SW only

Than all my files played smooth&well!!

Seems that you can play with only SW decoding for this very high bit-rate videos,if you select HW+ or HW then freeze/not play!

I never any experienced with my all other Boxes(AML912 or RK3399)!! when I use MX Player
even my last box X99 and I always select and well played with HW+ !!

And yesterday I wrote my KODI(17 or 18) experience with my high bit-rate video files
Where if you select MediaCodecs from Kodi Video Setting than all videos freeze!
So you should not be selected Codecs!

Another thing that i found strane was the lack of OTA update application.
My 3 year old TV box had it. I will add the same to that mail as well.

I'v removed lot of Apps!
such as NetFlix,Skype,Twitter,Mobdro,ShowBox,etc.,

USB ports always powered/running!

But my Box very cool,no any Heat issue(room temp around 18/19C)
Note;when I check thru KODI>>System Info;Hardware and have seen 2C !!! is it possible?? always 2C!!

Total Memory;3846MB
Free Memory;3048MB

I used another app from the play store; CPUZ was not reporting temperatures correctly, it was showing 26C all the time.
I used CPU Monitor to check temprature. It reported a maximum of 81c and minimum of 65c.

My suggestion is to just advise Magicsee of the problems, with video and pictures,
Were pretty good with there support/fixes of the amlogic software.
Keep at them, for a solution to the woe's

Surely we, or they, or GB could come up with with a more coordinating process that compresses issues into a format that insurers the most complete corrections? The best Effective Results, with the least Fustration for all.

Seems GB should step up to their supplier, and lead the process of relaying to magicsee.. the immediate fw needs, so they (Builder and Seller) can get a comprehensive fix to disappointed buyers asap..

maybe AIDA64 App ??? , the USB Power Bug exist on X99 too , so you can see , the main Code

of FW is the same , 2C is for sure a Bug , but does this Box support temperatures check ,

On-OFF BUG!!

Well,everyday I'v found another BUG

But this On-Off Bug really bother me WTF

In fact I'v already told you this Bug before yesterday

>From Remote commander "Power OFF"(long press red button) if you turn Off than device never opened if the duration such as

And now found another version On-Off Bug;even if you turn to Stand-By mode than device never turn on again if the duration such as
more than 1 hour

So if your Off or Stand-by duration more than 1 hour(even less!!) this device never turn ON

why u not use a stock BT Mouse with Keyboard , i use the Logitech K330 , works great with Mouse
