frose6565, I don't know why yours is March 1, but I'd guess that it isn't significant. It maybe that the supplier got the firmware upgrade earlier, when you got yours. I wouldn't worry at the moment. When the wheels start falling off, let us know!

If we could load TWRP as the recovery file we could replace it, but there's no working TWRP for our A95X MAX. (I used TWRP to change the bootanimation for my phone.) It may be possible to replace the bootanimation with the Flashify app or maybe with a terminal emulator.
And I just found an app called Boot Animations for Superuser. You might check it out; I've never used it. You may have to find a replacement boot animation.
There is a file in /system/bin called "bootanimation", but I don't know anything about its usage.
If you actually like the A95X MAX boot animation and you could get the original file for the boot animation, you could remove the audio file, then put it back... but it sounds risky.

Hi everyone,
i been facing auto restart few time, suspect my tv box too hot. I had upgrade my box on SOC & DDR ram + additional Fan for cooling.
using Solid copper heatsink replacing with aluminum heatsink. before upgrade Temp was 64deg c ... now max is 55deg c.
Fan 40mm x 40mm x 7mm = 5vdc direct solder to direct to power connector.
and also running optical fiber HDMI cable quality is wonderful.

I suspect more like firmware not stable for YT when operate at high setting picture got distorted some time then YT hang or box restart by itself.
If I do random select movie in YT then select again and again.. it restart again even upgrade cooling system.
On other app don't have this issue.

I thought the fan would be mounted to the bottom of the box, especially if you have a connected internal hard drive (i have).
I wanted to install a fan, but I did not because my motherboard did not have the original connectors for it (I saw this forum, as it was in the first series).
I would have to solder it directly but I do not know what side the red is going to and which black wire.
On your footage I do not see how you solder them and where?
Otherwise my box does not heat up for now, although I'm pretty much watching YT.

my box also dont have the fan connector, i solder direct to power connect pin and i choose fan install on below hdd is to have colder pushing wind to SOC & pulling heat from hdd as both side also benefit it.
in the DC power connector it have 3 pin facing bottom of board.
