Install set CPU or CPU tweaker and tell me the voltages you see in the settings: only in this way I can tell you which kernel mod you've installed.

I've verified with CPU Tweaks - Voltage is 1300 mV at 1,7GHz and 850 mV at 312MHz - cpu max 1,7 GHz, probably the kernel is not that i mentioned in my post, 'cause it is'nt in my downloads, but it could be this: GPS_1.2_cpu1704h_target_2.1_gpu600_ddr744.
Wow, last antutu benchmark: 21221!

You're right you are using the "cpu1704h_target_2.1" CPU mod.

Battery reporting not synchronized in new kernel mods... Full charged while off but only shows 99%.. Its 100% in TWRP too.

With kernel mod lower cpu 1704 ram 744 have now reached 21037 points with AnTuTu. I think I should be okay .... then one last thing: this kernel enables you to change the camera resolution from 480p to 720P

With new kernel 1.2 there are no more problems with the battery!

I played around with the kernels and noticed that a lot of instability is caused by the voltage stepping kernel's low voltage parts. 925mV is simply not enough for the RAM modules, not even in suspend state. I made my tablet stable with rising the voltage for 200-300MHz around 1000mV and left the 720-744MHz with 1200mV. For example
[1000000, 200001],
[1000000, 300002],
[1050000, 400000],
[1100000, 500000],
[1150000, 600000],
[1200000, 700000],
[1200000, 744256]
As you mentioned before the tablet on Kitkat needs a little bit more juice in the different CPU states than on JB.
So my tablet is stable with
[825000, 312000],
[850000, 504000],
[925000, 816000],
[975000, 1008000],
[1075000, 1200000],
[1175000, 1416000],
[1275000, 1704000],

So master if you would be so kind to make a patched variant with the above specs for the people missing stability on Kitkat Riley 1.8 - would be nice.

Hi giouncino,

I played around with the kernels and noticed that a lot of instability is caused by the voltage stepping kernel's low voltage parts. 925mV is simply not enough for the RAM modules, not even in suspend state. this kernel should be exactly the same included in RileyRom 1.8, if I'm not wrong.
So I suggest you to use the latest version of mod kernels ("GPS_1.2"). These kernels are compatible with the rom you linked.

One more interesting observation from my side that the RAM voltage stepping kernels (maakie) have a shorter standby time than the original ones (with one kernel RAM voltage). I suspect that the original kernels have a built in down-powering algorithm for the system's standby state. If we regulate standby voltages in a voltage stepping kernel table we may prohibiting the down-powering to kick in.
