In my case jb 1.6.1 was slow and sluggish. Kk 1.8 is perfect in every aspect. No thoughts of going back. Hope it wont develop problems like some have reported.
Anyway....have no interest going back to jb.

In my case kitkat release is the only one I've never resetted! And with a spectacular battery saving!

I m thinking to test the 1.6 first because the procedure is simpler... and i am a flash-virgin so far ... and after that to go on (if everything is ok) with the 1.8...

          Better safe than sorry!

Its the same exact procedure...just leave the loader checked, and be sure to erase idb.

              You see... thats the thing...
I don't really understand the things that you are saying, until i see them in front of me!

A few weeks ago i didn't even understand the exact procedure for rooting...
I read a lot... i try it... and now i have no problem do that again and again...
Plus... i want to see the differences between original ROM and your ROM!

              P.S.
Which one is the site for Pipo's releases?!

I see no "English" version there...
What are the differences between those 2?
Its a simple choice in the settings and thats it? Chinese version becomes English?

The Chinese versions come with a lot of Chinese apps...that's it

                          Hi Randy,

I really appreciate your hardwork on custom ROM. Is it possible, if you can rework the new updated version of this ROM provided by Pipo recently? It would be great to have the newest update from them!

                          Regards,
                          RedHatPerl

                              v1.6...
                              Faster in every aspect!
                              Slightly better WiFi signal...
I did not try GPS and Bluetooth so far.

I have only one issue with Viber!
Until now, the same account (same phone number) could exist in one phone, 2 desktop computers, 2 "virtual" android tablets (Bluestacks) and in my M6...
In this ROM, when i activate my account in M6, Viber was automatically deactivated on my phone!
When i activate it again on my phone, the opposite thing happen! My M6 was deactivated!
As i see in Viber forums, this happens ONLY if you put the same account in 2 MOBILE PHONES! (In desktop/tablet version the same account can exist in many devices, but ONLY in one phone!)

                              So my question is this...
Why Viber "thinks" that M6 is now a smartphone?
Is there a solution for that?

                              P.S.
By the way... THANK YOU for your GREAT ROM!

Last Pipo Jelly Bean release did not include many Chinese applications, I opened it and cleaned it to make own custom ROM. But I have not yet finalized it, because current ROM is stable and has no application conflicts.

I was thinking add DVB-T features and media server to ROM, but still few open issues , how to include TVHeadEnd to ROM.
