Yes, this is the right ROM for your tablet.

There is an M6, and an M6 Pro...Pipo adds the word Max to all of their "M" series tablets. I know, confusing, right?

I thought so, funny thing that KK1.8 does not use newer kernel - uses 3.0.36, drivers are for the new ones 3.2-3.4. That's the point.
Anyway thank you kikka for your support.

Confusing only for people that don't really know the difference!
I was one of those people! Thank for your response!

So... if i follow your guides and flash with Jellybean, i will say bye bye to those lags? or it will simply make the situation o bit better?

And how about your other post with KitKat?
More things to do before flashing in that case, but is it worth it? Better results, or simply newer android version?

1.8 is very stable and works for me....no more rebooted or freezes. GPS even works.

About your Terminal Emulator listing I thought :
              - you have succesfully installed drivers
              - detects receiver chip version 2 ?
              - don't support tuner version detected (whrere to find tuner driver ?)

You should be able to see your receiver in TVHeadend after booting and init.d on selection box of the DVB inputs.

For example my RTL2832U chip was detected in TVHeadend , but I was not able to tune channels before right tuner chip driver fc0012.ko was included and edited to 02dvbt script to install module.

If there is no difference between kernels you should get at least some other sticks working with Kitkat.
I returned to Jelly Bean because of some third party app incompatibility issues.

Also USB DVB-T stick has to be already connected in powerup (at least for me connecting stick on the fly don't work).

                Hello again...

In page 6 in your "First Time Guide...rev6" (in 1.6) you are saying:
"Next, launch the RKAndroidTool.exe from the RileyROM folder..."

I see this in that folder:

                Am i missing something?

                  Sorry for the confusion.

The RKAndroidTool is actually the flash tool in the main folder. The other tool is the RKBatchTool which I include in the ROM kit as an alternative to switching the device into flash mode.

Finless compiled the RKAndroid tool with some modifications and named it Flash Tool.

I think I'm very close to run DVBT on my Pipo thanks to your advises.

usb 1-1: dvb_usb_v2: 'ITE 9135 Generic' successfully initialized and connected

                    in my dmesg log.

Still looking for the ITE 9135 drivers compiled for the kernel 3.0.36+

Sorry, I did not understand the problem , can you select your receiver in tvheadend?

I just installed XBMC for Android and it is fantastic software to watch also Live TV.
Much better than TVHGuide and MX Player.

                        1.6 user's ....I have a question.

Today, Pipo released a firmware update which turns out to be another Jellybean release.

My first inclination is to ignore this release and concentrate on the KitKat ROMs.

I highly recommend the KK ROM, BTW.

Is there any interest in a new JB ROM?

                        If so, why.

I turned back to jb after sod problems with kk rom. I had sod every time I powered on from deep sleep. Every time i re-flashed the KK rom the tablet worked flawlessly for a few days but after that i had sod again. Tried all patched kernel but didn't helped either. KK rom is far better than jellybean but not as stable. I think that 1.6.1 is quite good and as the first kk stable will be released soon by Pipo, you should focus on a that stable release.

I am still using my M6pro with your 1.6 ROM. The reason for not to change is that I have everything functioning now and have not the time to experiment with a new ROM. I will certainly upgrade in the near future but do not feel the urge to do this now. I don’t know how much time and work you put in building and testing a new ROM (I suppose, a lot). If it takes a lot from your precious resources then do not care about Jellybean. If you have the spare time and you are curious about the modules inside – maybe fixed 3g modules – then take the fight please.

I have tested Kitkat ROM for a week , but returned to JB.
I had problems with third party camera applications with KK.
I have not problems with JB and don't know ,if there is anything in new release
to make new ROM, unless to include DVB features and XBMC (is it good reason to make new JB ROM?)
After testing I don't know good reason to go to Kitkat.

No, I can't. There is no any adapter in drop down list.
                                Thanks for all hikka.
