Best for me has been the rileyrom 1.7 KitKat with the kernel randy supplies with it. It has been just darn stable for me. I about daily had to use the reset pin under stock pipo and also the rilely 1.6. Under the KitKat 1.7 Riley ROM it has been rare. I just today tried some of the other kernels and most of them had boot hangs for me, a couple couldn't make it through Antutu so I went back to the kernel randy has with the 1.7 I get a 19500+ score with it anyway and it has been so smooth..…
I do miss the GPS, that was one of the reasons I chose the M6 pro in the first place.... I'm using a fake GPS program to force location for some apps....

the one with overclocked RAM only, works perfectly virtually on EVERY tablet.

Also, make sure you check everything while still stock, like the camera, flash,wireless and speakers.... In case you had to send it back for some reason.....also make sure you read everything here and the first time guide and all before you flash.....

Then I flashed the kimmen stock ddr and it seems to be working fine and steady adding about 350 points in antutu. Thanks, giouncino!

This is happening with some people, I was getting the crash in antutu while 3d testing ,I still don't know the reason but after flashing the 1.7 ROM again the kernel Clark is working like a charm.

Thanks, that is a good suggestion, I'll re-install the full 1.7 ROM with Claro when I get a chance and post over in the 1.7 thread how that goes....

350points of gain is extremely low. Try ANTUTU test again. For reliable result make sure that:
- the tablet is powered on in "steady state" for at least 2 minutes
- switch off Wi-fi
- remove any micro-SD

Wtih only RAM overclock you can gain at least 1000 points on antutu.

Yes , this is low, I got the improvement from 19000 to 20400 using the kernel.

This will not affect battery duration, or a negligible increase due to 100mV decrease of RAM voltage.

Hi Everybody,

I just received my PIPO M6 Pro yesterday and flash it immediately with RileyROM 1.6.1 !
It works perfectly like a charm for the moment except 1 thing but I don't know if it is a global Android bug or just on RileyROM ! I have set 2 users account (one for me and an other for my girlfriend), and I can change the wallpaper on mine but not on her account, the wallpaper still black. I have change it a lot of time and I have always the message "wallpaper change successfull" but still always black. Same if I restart the tab !!! Strange !

Anybody have this problem also ?

This is for kit kat, version 1.7 of RileyRom. Will this work with 1.6 or is their a different kernel needed? This is great stuff you guys are doing.

That is for kitkat only.
I've not prepared a RAM modified only for JB.
The kernels are not compatible!
