Help for Pipo M6 Pro 3g

Hi guys, can you help me find this Chinese M6pro original firmware 1.1.3 update 20131209.img
because I have a problem I installed the firmware Pipo M6 Pro 1.6.1 RileyRom believing reactivate the cameras were not working but to no avail. I contacted the seller of China where I bought my M6 Pipo Pro 3g explaining that the cameras were not working and he told me to send back the item you replaced it myself, so before you return the item in china I would like to bring to the initial state If the seller is not me no more substitutes.
Please guys help me I'm desperate.
I thank you all in advance.
    Thank you.

After 2 days of usage i had cameras not working with M6pro 3G. For me it was not a firmware issue but was fault of the camera cable that was not making contact. I opened the tablet to fix this(but be carefull).

1.6.1 seems to wake-up better from deepsleep

          Hello,

I had difficulties using RR1.5 waking up from deepsleep.
Sometimes it needed two times pressing the power button, sometimes it did not wake up at all.
To reboot it needed the pin reset.

Using 1.6.1 this seems to be better, it seems to be gone completely!
So, no more "not waking up" issues with 1.6.1

There was a remark about this here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ROM-1-5/page11

          in post #217 by Giouncino

          Un saludo,

I am now using the RR 1.3a ROM. Does it make sense to upgrade to 1.6(.1)?
What will be the main difference? Is the 1.6 more stable? Are there any new/missing features comparing to 1.3? I have experienced some freezing with 1.3a.

              1.6.1 up and running

Hi all. I already received my m6 pro 3g. Started with rr1.4.2 because stock rom was pretty... Battery consuming and GPS doesn't work fine, although very stable. With 1.4.2 is very stable and battery drain is fixed, in addition memory management was better also and HD/normal screen selection was present. However some interesting things like multiple user was disabled. For 1.6.1 multiple user is available, GPS strength is much better and the only point I see is memory management (worst), no more screen definition selection (not useful for me but just to report) and battery is draining more than with 1.4.2 (I'm actually rechecking this as I used 2 users and probably a process was kept running on the second one, will keep you posted). So, for me and until new 1.7 KitKat-based is developed, I agree with giouncino that 1.4.2 is the most stable, though the no multi user available (thanks if someone could advise how to enable in 1.4.2), and will go on testing 1.6.1 if I confirm that battery is not an issue. Thanks again to Riley for his efforts and great work on these custom roms, I don't know what would I do if it was only available the stock rom... Regards!!Dcbede

                Hi.

Is there any possibility to customize the notification bar / status bar (the one which pops out when swiping down from the top right side)?

I would like to add there a symbol to activate / deactivate modem power and mobile data?

I donĀ“t like to go through settings->more->mobile networks->... to access these options.

                Thank you for your help.

                Benjamin

                  Multiuser:
" If you really need it just put this line at the bottom of the build.prop:

fw.max_users=4 " quote from randy from rr1.5 thread

you can edit the build.prop with es esplorer for example (but make a back up of it first,)

Hi jk, some steps that worked for me:
Copy and extract the ROM to the desktop. For some reason it didn't worked on 1st attempt from another location.

1 install driver from rockchip (the .exe). Reboot PC (win7)
                      2 start ROM flash 1.3.7
3 attach pipo to USB now (do not start mass storage device) - at this point, it should be detected.
4 double check that now is installed the "class for rockusb devices" in win7 device manager
5 press reboot to flash from ROM flash
6 erase nand (IDB) from ROM flash utility. Check if it was completed the format.
7 flash ROM from ROM flash utility. After completion it won't detect the pipo when booting, that's normal.

Otherwise, read carefully Riley's instructions, there are some details to pay attention to.

                      Good luck!!

it does show usb rockusb under drives in device manager. As mentioned it does detect it and comes up with: Found RKAndroid Mass Storage Usb. but the next step where it tells you to reboot2flash, it comes up with message so i am stuck
i can't test it as i am at work.

                        3. when you say mass storage, do mean connect as usb option?

funny thing i when i used the rkbatch tool it then show a different device in device manager, when i hit swith the tablet turns off??

Hi Benjamin, if it could help, I use "power toggles" from the Google play. You can set up to 16 quick switches/links on top of the screen as it does the symbol bar included with android.

I think I saw that message on 1st attempt, while the driver was not installed yet. Check driver, check ROM is uncompressed in desktop (I don't know why, but it worked) and restart PC after installing the driver. And read carefully Riley's guide: there were some details that I missed on 1st attempt and tablet was not completely well detected. Hope it helps
