Is there a way to know if my CX-919 has the speed-capped SoC without opening it? A quick glance at CPU-Z and Antutu does not seem to show anything regarding that.

FYI
Tried this just to see what would happen on my CX-921 - with the 6gb parameter file set all I won was penguins - but with the 2gb parameter file - it managed to get to the welcome / pick your language screen.
But none of my USB input devices would allow for any kinda input at all.
Like I said - just an FYI for and DEV's.

I'm using this ROM with Darrell's kernal at the moment. The problem I'm having is that all menus, icons etc are way too small since changing kernel.
Last night I booted up and everything was back to normal size but tonight, small again. Any ideas what would cause this instability?

OK?

"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

I followed your instructions. I've renamed build.orig to build.prop and build.prop to build.old.
I rebooted the device but doesn't appear to have made any difference. Am I missing something?

First undo what you have just changed
so you are now back to where you sarted.
Now open build.prop & find the line ro.sf.lcd_density=160
edit that line so it now says ro.sf.lcd_density=240
save & rebootPlease consider making a Donation to freakTab

model T = RK3188-T
Hey Bob with your distrib and your kernel_cpu1800h_gpu798h_ddr720 I clock my crap T model CPU to 1,4GHz
woooooooooooooooo
its crap RK3188-T model clocked to 1.2GHz stock on GK525.
What do you think about that ?
All other kernel gave me only 1.2GHz speed
Well, I can see the CPU speed with CPU-Z but do you know how I can check the ram / gpu speed ?
Regards

I read somewhere it's not necessary to flash everything if you switch kernel, but from my experience it does make a difference. Is that normal, or am i seeing ghosts?
Also on another note, i tried the 1080p kernels for this rom from Bob, but they are not as performant as the one from darrelr in this thread. Performance as in choppy video playback and user interface i mean.
How can this be? I thought bob's kernels were done with the same method?--

Just a general question for you guys. I had a bricked MK802IV that wouldn't take any flashes even in MASK ROM mode. However I was able to succesfully flash with finless flash tool and this Kit Kat rom. I tried flashing back down to NEOrom but it failed and bricked my device again. Is there any explanation for this?
When I try to flash with NEOrom the device reboots during flash and it becomes a unrecognized USB device, where as if I flash this kitkat rom with finless flash tool it goes all the way through. I tried flashing a 4.2.2 rom with this flash tool and it failed as well.
