    AW: NEW - Finless ROM 2.0 - KitKat 4.4.2 for AP6210 wifi - BETA

I'm not an expert, but for me it seems like 3188t is not the same for everyone.
It sounds like rockship produces the 3188 and tested them. Those which fail the test gets clocked down and become 3188t.
Also the tricks some users found out are for their specific device only and not bulletproof.
Again, we have to wait and see what Bob and the others find out and are able to do for us unlucky people with this chipset

i think that it's all about bootloader...
i tested a lot of combinations: if i flash roms, that have boot loader 1.xx (finless roms, neo 2.1), then i can overclock, but i have screen flickering problems; if i flash with 2.xx loaders (neo 1.9a and 2.0, KitKat rom), then i have no problems with screen flickering, but i can't overclock anything...

so, i think that bootloader is the thing that checks kernel before flashing and maybe there are some caind of exception on chips, or something...

I really hope this is the answer.
Seems like this is also the case for me, flickering on 1080p but cpu at 1.6ghz with 1.xx, no flickering but only 1.2ghz with 2.xx.
Please, can anybody combine these two worlds?

            WIFI not working. CX919

Installed this ROM and booted up perfectly fine and running smooth. But my WIFI won't turn on. Bit worried that I got a fake unit due to the function button being in a different spot than all the pictures I have seem of CX-919, also it didn't come in a box just bubble pack. Only got it a week ago and this is the first ROM that I have tried.

I would say that you have a clone device for sure this is not a cx 919 a photo of he internals would maybe shed more light what it is

It appears to have an AP6210 chipset on it although the rockchipset is a RK3188-T

Just started to load the 1.6b rom on there to test it before i got your reply. You looking for a kernel to work with the 2.0 finless ROM? If you could get that working for me that would be so great. Would really like at least android 4.3 to be running on my stick so can change users quickly so no messing around with youtube logins and internet shortcuts between me and my GF.

                            MK-908II slow wifi

                            Hi all,
I'm running into a problem where my WiFi connections seems to be choking up when streamming media files through SMB.

I have three android devices and I used WiFi Speed Test to check their performance
                            • THL W200
                            • Nexus 7
                            • MK-908II (this custom rom Finless 4.4.2 beta with kernel_cpu1800h_gpu798h_ddr800 στην beta kitkat του finless. Antutu is around 14500 and nowhere near as mentioned 19000 numbers. I downloaded the kernel from the first post. Also the gpu performance is very low so Badlands is very slow compared to nexus 7.

First thing I noticed was that MK-908II was complaining about an overlapping WiFi network, but all of my devices were reporting same frequency and same channel.

                            Here are the results

It is obvious that the MK-908II with this setup is getting half the bandwidth. Also stability was an issue.
Nexus 7 varies between 1Mbit/s, W200 between 2MBit/s and MK-908II can even drop to zero.

Unfortunately I haven't tried this with the original rom.

What do you propose I do?
Should I try the kernels from this thread?
Please try to provide some remarks also about the kernel I mentioned above
ernel_cpu1800h_gpu798h_ddr800 στην beta kitkat του finless. Antutu is around 14500 and nowhere near as mentioned 19000 numbers. I downloaded the kernel from the first post. Also the gpu performance is very low so Badlands is very slow compared to nexus 7

                            Thanks in advance

Thanks. I couldn't get 1.6b finless rom working on it. The link that betalb2014 supplied in the post you linked me got me back up and running, cheers. Little disappointed that can't install finless rom. Looks like it gets really good support.

                              Thanks again.
