As I said, this is a problem for 3G models...

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the modem running all the time.

I asked Anna Ye about this issue MANY times without success, I asked to pipowolrd.com customer care too...same wasting of time...
Now KitKat still shows the SAME issue. I have no words for this stupid behaviour....
When the tablet is connected on wi-fi or is in airplane mode I cannot understand why 3G service should be still running!!!! I think it is not so difficult to add these conditions to enable or not 3G service....if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

are you REALLY sure?
Do you use the RileyRom 1.7 Kitkat?
How do you see that the tablet goes in deep sleep? Do you use Cpu Spy?
It is important to share with us these information,
thank you in advance.if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

My (No)-Deep Sleep expierience is this:
Turning Pipo off for some hours --> when turning on again, battery percentage hasn't changed but after 5 Minutes, or so, of using the Pipo the percentage drops about 10 % ( probably depending on the time of hibernation) --> Therefore feel that I got tricked into believing it works... Hope it helps with the matter...maybe someone could check if I'm telling crap here

To have the PROOF that deep sleep is working or not:
- switch on the tablet
- install CPU spy
- leave the tablet on, wait untill screen goes automatically off
- wait 5 minutes (more or less)
- switch on the display and verify if on CPU SPY the row of deep sleep is present or not. If NOT deep sleep IS NOT working.
For 3G models with this KitKat beta ROM deep sleep row IS NOT PRESENT!if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

Re: Pipo M6 Pro RileyROM 1.7 KitKat
For deep sleep you can also look at the thin blue line immediately below the battery graph. Where the line is broken the tablet is sleeping. If you have sync enabled for some apps the tablet will wake very briefly periodically. I also found that you can leave airplane mode on and still turn on WiFi when you want it (it will override airplane mode) which is strange but apparently even iPhones do that.

Also this graph could not be accurate, the BEST way to be SURE if deep sleep is working is using CPU SPY.if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:
