Early, i do feel reluctant to update to KK. Then since JB gave me a lot of shitty things, i updated to KK last night and change kernels(kimmen higher voltage). Antutu score 20600.

      ART is definitely unusable...

every power on lasts 10 minutes because of the "app optimization"(CPU stuck at 1.2Ghz for 10minutes),
I tried different solution to install apps:

      - from a titanim backup: app optimization at every boot
      - from play store: same result
      - from single APK files: same result

At the moment it is far better to use Dalvik, unfortunately...
      --------
Some kernels working on JB, in kitkat are not completely stable.
I used my Low_voltage kernel on EVERY Jelly Bean release, now with KitKat that is not stable at all. To test Kitkat better I needed to revert back to stock Kernel.
I need to check where is the problem...
      --------
With CPU spy I've noted that with Kitkat the CPU spend a lot much more time at maximum frequency with respect to Jelly Bean. Even when is not required (no app opened).
Jelly Bean used more 816Mhz for CPU.
This is not good for battery saving.
      --------
In general use Kitkat is faster and more responsive than Jelly Bean, It is very good and promising for a beta release.
      --------
With KitKat is not possible to charge the tablet from off condition: in that condition the tablet switch completely on (as on the very first release of Jelly Bean 4.2.2).

Guys I have a problem with 1.6 (it happened in previous roms too) , sometimes (NOT always) if I hide the bottom bar then it doesn't appear again even after a reboot and the only solution is to re-flash ROM, how can I make it appear again? (touch drag from bottom doesn't work)

It works actually if you continously drag the bottom bar. It is really irritating and that's why i changed to KK.

However you can install GMD gesture, it is a really good app but i don't like it.

P/s : in KK, how to hide the bottom bar? It will reduce Antutu marks during testing (decreased resolution i guess)

Thanks but as I already mentioned, "dragging" doesn't work no matter how many times I try it.

I am experiencing freezing from the camera functions of pdf scanner and instagram. it seems that it doesn't want to work with any other camera app than the stock camera app.

You are best to find a computer with win 7 or XP as there won't be a solution for 8.1 any time soon

HDMI is working fine for me connecting to a Sony Bravio TV but the picture is slightly squashed vertically due to the different aspect ratios of the tablet and TV. Check HDMI enabled in settings. The screen timeout doesn't work.

Update: switching to ART, Antutu jumps to 21,468 and running stable, you gentlemen have made a good tablet into a great tablet! operation seems to be much smoother in everything except web browsing that still seems to be a bit laggy.
