I've not seen a post with a comparison but....
I'm pretty sure that wasser xbmc v1.3 is built using the latest source from spmc. So I can only assume they'll perform very similar depending on what additional tweaks wasser added / removed?

I must say that wasser 1.0.4 and wasser xbmc 1.3 is an awesome combo.... dänke wasser!

I'm uploading to my media fire account now. It'll take about an hour. My upload speed is poor at best, sorry!
Once uploaded I'll update this post with the link. Inside the zip is my file pack for the ROM so it contains the wasser 1.0.4 ROM, 1080 oc kernel pack and the RKBatchtool (no driver file, sorry) which I used to flash the ROM.
Before it gets asked....
Unzip the download first.
Then unzip the wasser 1.0.4 file (this is the ROM).
Then unzip the kernel pack if you have 1080p and want a oc kernel. (I use max oc kernel with zero issues)
The RKBatchtool is already unzipped.

I just upgraded from Wasser XBMC 1.2 to 1.3 and when I checked my audio settings in XBMC i saw that the channels selection tab is greyed out. I wanted to select 5.1 and I'm not able to. Did I do something wrong? I need passthrough to work on 5.1 channels.

If you have passthrough enabled, then you don't need to change the channels, because digital sound is sent to your receiver and is your receiver that do that job.

I also use this box to play 3D movies on TV and those are 1080p as well. Does the 1080p kernel make the whole rom show up as 1080p(I.e. chrome, gallery, other apps)? Will it make icons smaller on home screen?

Auto hide

Wasser, firstly thanks for your effort and releasing of version 1.3
I tried it and found out that auto hide of botton line menu of the main screen does not work. In v 1.2 it worked well.
It might be just my feeling but air mouse freezes more often during selection of any item comparing to v 1.2. Higher CPU load? (I am running it on HardwareGuru 5.0)

Thanks for responding. I agree the performance is outstanding and the rom looks great on home screens and in apps. Xbmc clearly shows 1080p resolution in syatem info, but I wanted to be sure about the rest. I just wanted to make sure .

I had a lot of lag on minix 008 FW but found that if I waited it would eventually play the movie (or whatever function I was doing), but with Wasser 1.0.4 there is no lag and no waiting! I installed minix metro launcher.apk but Im using the provided "launcher3" which is awesome.

Now...if I could just fix my Onkyo AV receiver I could look at all this discussion about "pass through" but for now 2 channel is all I need.lol. Wasser you are the man

Hey guys,

anyone here using SpotiMC? I can't get it to work on Wassers XBMC 1.3 (or any of the previous versions), always the error is "unable to find 'libspotify'". Any known workaround?
