IN my experience it was a rare bug and I can only think of a few videos that had the issue to try.

Here's the change log for the new version. The issue was with videos riped with makemkv software. Koying has fixed this. No other version of xbmc has this fix yet.13.2.1 (2014/07/16):

    • New graphics (thanks to @Tinwarble from OuyaForum)

Sorry for not trusting you at the beginning, apologies from my side to you; I had wasted a lot of my time before with this problem, for that I had been so incredulous; I had taken the time to install this version and set up all of the addons, and you are correct the HD content with problems on the official XBMC, Minix XBMC & Wasser XBMC had been corrected here on this latest SPMC_13.2.1. I had tested 4th examples with problem on IceFilms and Mashup-VIPplaylist-->Daemon88 and all of them are Ok now on this version.
Unfortunately the happiness is not complete because in this version the subtitles (from different addons-sources) are not working; We need the subtitles at home. And for any reason I can remark that the image playing the content through this spmc version looks darker than in the original gotham, however I use screen adjuster apk set contrast to -40 on both here is not that effective as in the original. If you are reporting to the ouya forum it will be nice to let know koying that the subtitles are not working.
I´m not using passthrough, but sure it will be good to get fixed the passthrough problem as well.
        Thanks ngoal.
Anyway, it´s very strange that if koying had found the root of the problem this had not been implemented in the latest gotham 13.2 beta1; hopefully in the upcoming updates will be implemented on the official gotham and keep the fixes for the future releases.

Just checked a video with the open subtitles add on and it worked fine. What add-on are you using for the subtitles? There is not one loaded by default.

I´m using by default opensubtitles.org; but as well I had tried some others like subscene, podnapisi, and others. The subtitles are found and supodsely loaded, but are not being shown on the movie or the video; there are not error message just simply not being shown.

I used any video i could think of with this error to test on my x7. Videos that freeze at the 10 min mark using wasser xbmc play fine on the newest spmc. Unfortuanately passthrough will not work however. Wasser maybe you could look into combining your passthrough hack into spmc?

For those who want to try for themselves go to http://spmc.semperpax.com
There is also no frameskips when using medicodec acceleration on this version

BTW awesome rom Ive tried them all and yours is the best one I've used. Simple and functional

i'm working new wasser xbmc which will include the fix for this issue. Thanks for your info

                      No 1

a question for you wasser: can you eventually implement:
                      mashup repo
                      fusion repo
                      opensubtitles & subscene
hybrid repo skin by mudislander - for more confluence user control and widgets would be cool and usable

That would make this ROM combined with your XBMC variation the final killer

                      I smell another donation coming

also + from my side ^^
these repos are a must have oO
they are included by default in bxbmc so it would be very nice to have it in wasser xbmc.
and maybe you can try to use the spmc
as far as i can see its a little bit better with hw acceleration oO
                        maybe worth a try ^^
Semper Media Center (SPMC in short) is a android-minded fork of Kodi, by the former Kodi android maintainer, Koying

                        thx

Passthrough does work in gotham SPMC with the 1.04 wasser rom. Also in the next version of SPMC the stagefright (hardwareacceleration) for the rockchip VPU will be fixed. (I have tested this new SPMC version and it will be released by Koying shortly).

Pass through using spmc only produces static on my setup but works on wasser xbmc with the same setup. Maybe I should try it again to see if I can get it to work

Hi Freaktab community. I'm after some advice....
Obviously at this time I'm using wasser's ROM and XBMC included with the firmware. My problem is with XBMC, I get sound lag on everything I try and stream (within 10 minutes of starting the stream) to the point where I have to stop the feed. At this point I'll add I've tried other custom and official XBMC builds but the issue still exists
I have a very basic setup (x7 direct to tv via hdmi) and I've had a play with the settings on both android and XBMC but I can't resolve the massive lag?
So, any advice or setting recommendations will be greatly received. I open to try anything to keep this ROM on my x7.

                                Thanks guys!

PS. Many thanks to wasser for this ROM. It's the best kk build I've used on the x7. MINIX should take note of how a good 4.4.2 build should work, silky smooth and super fast!
