any reason I can't delete home screen icons? I tried long press but I don't get the Remove icon on top...

Have you tried Apex loader? It'll let you long press and then gives you a choice of what to do to the icon.

@Ant: I tried refresh rates 24, 50 and 60 -> no change. Always stuttering....

The interesting point is, that it works well with the Raspberry Pi - with the OpenELEC version of XBMC.

Wasser xbmc 1.3

Can somebody please dropbox the new Wasser XBMC. I can' download it. It tells me "the connection was reset" for more than 1 hour.

But I've installed and tested and crashes every time a change a channel with IPTV PVR . I don't know if the issue is because I've restored the backup from the original Gotham apk.
The previous version never crashes BTW.

I think someone may have asked this before but I cannot find it here...is there any way to to perform a backup from recovery after installing wasser 1.0.4.?

I am in the cwm 6.0.3.1 recovery but it gives an error trying to mount bavkup path. Can I backup to external SD? Would it matter if I install the TWRP recovery or is it a path error written in the rom/Fw?

Edit-sorry I finally mounted "external storage"(external sd card) so I now have a nice backup of this awesome rom. Seriously this is fast rom with all the goodies thatbI liked from Minox official oo8 but with KK features and many improvements.

Ive played with this for a while now and Im impressed. I tried Xbmc gotham 13.1 and it lagged on 008 but it less lag here. Ill test more and report back. Thanks wasser.

But got myself a X8-h. I was getting tired of all the extra tweaking.
Surround sound is a must for me.

And therefore is hardware decoded surround sound is better for me.

First impressions are great!! Xbmc is super fast, browsing etc etc.

And the picture quality is also better on xbmc at 1080p. No micro stutters.

Where the X7 needs to be tweaked. The Rom and Xbmc. And an overclock.

The X8 performs great. Just stock.

Try a clean install. Wipe the apps data first then uninstall.
Reinstall wasser xbmc and test the IPTV PVR, if it works restore your backup and see if IPTV PVR functions as it should still. If not your backup is at fault and a fresh start could be the only option.

this rom is very good, i keep my minix powered on (not turning it off between uses) and its on for days now and it's very smooth and good. the only downside is as I mention before HLS streaming is not working and soundcloud, hopefully it will be fixed but even if not it's still the best rom out there for now for the x7

yes, wasser xbmc 1.3 has the fixes for the better hw-acceleration (private api)

Are these fixes stagefright-specific or do the improve MediaCodec-based decoding as well?
