bricked 4.4 fw on neo x7

Download never completed. I can boot to boot loader but it is blue in rk batch tool. 4.4 flash tool it finds rk batch tool and then looses it before i can do anything. Please help. Kevin i was flashing kitkat

First: with my question i want show you that all attack to me are unnecessary because stauzo is not only the bad man that not share. Also other like wasser put online kernel without config and source code (infact as expected from me i'm reading your bad post to me )

Second: if you read what i write in the previous post, you understand that comparing the dmesg from new kernel and old kernel, wasser are using old minix kernel.
Infact with the android 4.4.2 specific parameters also the old kernel can work but not with the same goodness that you can test with the new kernel and specially with the best android 4.4.2 rom from pipo (the only one complete)
Kernel of wasser are also compressed otherwise if not compressed you can use also your tools to patch kernel. (resolution and oc by pjhanderson / very good developer)

Read and reflect before write. I'm not the person that you think, i share what i can and what i want is only that the end users use good roms in rk3188. Is not important if this rom are my rom or rom of other, the necessary fact is that user can have the best experience with this devices.

p.s.
If wasser are using real the new kernel source code, he have my compliments and if demonstrate this to other users and not to me, i'm the first to write that wasser is a great developer.

To trust and understand my words, if you have an android hdmi stick rk3188 with ap6330 wifi like the t428 try my 1080p kernel 4.4.2 with system.img from pipo posted above all other parts loader recovery boot from finless 4.4.2 rom. (Compare dmesg and performances)

yes, it's oc kernel, i even uploaded standard (no oc) 1080p/720p kernels. People who have problem with oc kernel, please use the standard kernels!

I think your bootloader is broken.
First i would flash Finless or orig. Minix 4.2.2. During the flashing process you have to push the power button all the time- otherwise the flash tool stops after some seconds.
Second you can flash wasser ROM but you have to choose the 2.0.8 bootloader and all the other imgs provided by wasser.
If you want to go back to 4.2.2 you must use the old bootloader while pressing the power button all the time.
Hope that helps. Normally you cant brick the device.
I am very happy with the oc kernel on wasser´s ROM. No issues at all. I run it with 1608 min and 1800 max with setcpu.

I've just installed this kitkat firmware on neo X7 mini with 1080p kernel (no oc).

Output hdmi set to 1080p/60hz.

Using ART. set lcd density to 200 and added Mele F10 layout.

eth0 works, video playback is quite good except some sound shutoff time to time.

I have the vol +/- issue...

When i do the SoundAbout workaround, it's fixed, so it seems to depend on the output interface somehow, as if each sound source has its own individual readings.

Ultra Fast, Ultra Smooooooooth!

First of all, I'd like to thank wasser for this great wonderful amazing job!

My X7 feels like a Windows 8 i7 desktop PC. With 1080p kernel, the graphics is sharp and color quality is great, video performance is ultra smooth with mx player H/W+ accelaration, bluetooth audio and streaming is working very well.

I just observed that when you put on a wireless keyboard, the annoying soft keyboard disappears automatically which is amazing. No need to install that fishy null keyboards.

I was using 1.8 rom prior to this and believe me, you won't look back with that rom again if what I am talking above is all you need.

What Kernel version is the latest? I'm seeing 3.0.36+ looking at about in the settings.

Is that what I should be looking at or should I be looking at the date and time also?

it is. Activate 3.5 headphone jack and the sound will still play through HDMI, but with controllable volume.

When you say the old boot loader what are you refering to? I was successful flashing wasser, but i really like xbmc with passthrough, and was not able to get 4.4 to recognize xbmc for minix and straussburg patch won't work. I was planning on reflashing when rom has a few more kinks removed.
