Nice, getting attention, a parameter extended and already modding for boot partiotion. Please test and feed back guys, it's only days if not hours somebody will ask for the PS3 controllers and key maps for gaming. I have already experimented on trying San Andreas out just to see how it's handeld, crashes upon start...cant wait to see if X7 plays it well.

I am also testing the xposed framework, quite new to it. Got the lockscreen working, that i like, and a few annoying stuff i always got bugged by android, worth a shot.

The battery thing though is killing me, and i wonder if it affects performance. Minix in stock 008 apparently fixed the battery always showing 100% (instead of 0%), now we all know the fact that we have no battery, but the 0% can annoy a lot if modifications show it up.

Also, there is an addon for xposed, it maps everything for keyboards, muting button and custom layouts seem very easy to do.

In 008 Minix handled the battery thing in either init.rc or rk30board.rc I cant recall right now.
So it's not a code thing. If I get some time I will see if I can find the directive they used.

      Bob
"Pzebacz im, bo nie wiedzą, co czynią"
"Прости им, они не ведают, что творят"
"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"
"Vergib ihnen, denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun"
"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

FYI, when I reflash everything, the first time the box loads and goes throught the provisioning, prior to the red/green/yellow/blue logos, the first thing that comes up are 4 error messages which go by fast and roughly say:
          - Failed to mount (missed some things in between this) Cache
          - Failed to mount (") external sd ... no such file or something like that

I don't know what it means and just wanted to point it out in case it's important.

What benchmarks are you guys experiencing running this. I'm currently on stock 008 and must say its running quite smooth ATM. I'm in the process of deciding whether to try the 1800 600 720 kernel with stock ROM, finless 1.8 or this and wanted some guidance

Bob, I can confirm that your swap boot.img works great, I now have 64gb nand flash and everything is solid and very stable.
Sir you are a genius many thanks

I use Antutu benchmark latest version and my results are below :

Note : I have never had any streaming Video 1080 HD lag or drop outs on XBMC Beta 1 or Beyond XBMC (5g wifi), and never had any crashes or random reboots on any of the listed roms above.

I have two Minix x7 boxes and Logitech K400r keyboards on both.

                Hope this helps

Are you running Beyond XBMC on KitKat? It doesn't work for me on KK, it starts up then crashes.Same with SPMC.I am currently using the latest XBMC nightly which is fine.

San Andreas V1.03 is running fine on this Kitkat (Minix x7) I use a Moga Pro controler, very good frame rates, nice and smooth

Which runtime are you using? When I tried ART, both SPMC and B-XBMC crashed on startup. With Dalvik they run fine.

the first time i flashed this rom, a Google TV logo showed up for a second, i mentioned that in the first pages, the overall KK build is weird anyway, im just happy things are working well tbh.

all things work well here too. I use flumpsters first beta, not the launcher version. He also notes it is independent on settings with other XBMC, so they can co-exist. ART by any chance?

thats good to hear, i beg you test a DS4 controller with it if you can somehow, if that works then its definitely worth a purchase.

in kikat healthd is used, it's new replacement for charger which is used JB. the %0 is harmless and can be ignored!

I will remove the warnings in next release so you won't see them anymore in the log
