I reflashed holding down power button and it worked. Very Grateful. Thanks a lot. Kevin

Anyone have any joy getting a droidmote like app working between this Rom and another device?
Been playing round with sixaxis as well, it's hit and miss trying to get it to go, sometimes it starts fine, most the time it doesn't fully start. Even using the force stop fix on the Bluetooth share.

The A2 remote does work with this rom, however not all buttons do. In my case the tabs (switch apps), options and apps buttons are not working. For this reason, I have to keep the bottom bar on top.

Until now I have been using stock-roms and Finless 1.8. Finless 1.8 worked just fine, including 1080p video playback. (using oc kernels).
Yesterday I flashed Wassers KitKat rom with the kernel from 2014-01-16. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do I use/change the OC options? Tried apps lik set-CPU but this won't let me adjust memory and GPU settings.
With default settings, 1080p playback is stuttering unfortunately.
Thanks very much in advance for your help!!!

Which player are you using for video playback? I'm also using the oc'd kernel but even with the original one all 1080p videos played perfectly smoothly on my system.

Thanks or your quick reply! I tried Minix XBMC (latest version which played very well with Finless 1.8) and Beyond XBMC.
If things are ok with you, I must have done something wrong. Also tried different HDMI settings (1080/24/50/60). Did't make a difference.
@Wasser: Do you think it is an option to create a kernel with the settings Molle mentioned?

Gerard

Download this file http://flumpster.lolcakes.com/androi...oduct_7a18.zip and extract it.
Place the Vendor_0c40_Product_7a18.kl in system/usr/keylayout and set permissions RW R R (644).
Restart the machine and see if any of the buttons work.To Infinity and Beyond.... XBMC

I will report back.
Reinstalled Beyond XBMC and this is working fine now. Thanks for pointing me in te right direction.

Tried to copy the extracted file to the keylayout-folder, but this resulted in an error (read only file system). I am kind of a newby on android, so I will try to figure this out and get back to you.
ES File Explorer did not have root access. Used Solid Explorer instead.
Unfortunately, the device won't boot anymore :-(. Afraid I will have to start again from scratch. Think I call it a day...Last edited by gjvk70; 19 January 2014, 22:01.
