    Hi Wasser,

I tried to test this krrnel but I cannot find a setting to select the spdif. I used terminal to install this kernel. Am I right that this kernel is 3.0.36+ from Jan 27?

    Thanks for this fantastic ROM!

Interested to know peoples best Antutu scores on this ROM... Is there OC kernels available for the X7?

        Just for info:
Using the spdif kernel my Antutu score is 17418.
I am not sure if this is OC.

Thanks ppl will give this a go when I get home tonight and report back as currently getting 20300 on finless 1.8 but having lag issues for some strange reason. Molle are you using no frills with that kernel or any other tweaks. With beyond xbmc 3.1 on finless I have no issues but the lag in apps is bad when compared to my cx-919 on 1.6b... And are you using 1080 or 720?

When |I try to download this kernel the name of the file is Jan 11 2014? I think there is a problem with the link. Fauxclock also reports the max cpu as 1.608. Can you please re-upload the correct OC Kernel?

The oc'd kernel from 160114 doesn't require any additional tweaks:
                  • Min. CPU frequency is set to 1008MHz by default (CPU max. is 1800MHz)
                  • The kernel includes the new ondemand governor from Linux kernel 3.12. It's set as the default governor.

I tried some of the tweaks from PimpMyRom but they appeared to be incompatible with KitKat.

Thanks Molle. Have seen you all over the freaktab and MINIX forums and have been very helpful to follow. So do you have it running as default with the on demand governers , CPU min 1008 Max at 1800 or do you use no frills or equivalent to change anything? Just looking for a short fast way to keep my antutu up in the 20ks

                      Update: Found the overclock kernel

Now I can up cpu to 1.8 Using fauxclock

Here is a question I havent seen answered yet, being that this device doesnt use battery, and is plugged into the wall all the time, why are we not just using a performance governor by default

I do have no-frills installed but I'm not using it to set any parameters at boot time.

That lag that used to cause me to curse frequently at the tv seems to have disappeared in kitkat. I really think kitkat performs better on this hardware. JB 4.2.2 would lag no matter what rom I used. Those random 3 second lags are gone!

Thanks guys. Molle can you confirm if the kernel I want is the OC one in the first link or the one that Cantenna has just posted.

Nova and Conduit are a bit lag. This best kernel setting I have found for these two games are:
                              CPU 1704, gpu 798, DDR 720 or 800

Would be awesome if we had a full spread of OC kernel values that we could flash via quick flasher or recovery. when you wish upon a star...

so, my os looks pretty bad ass! I installed Xposed then XThemeEngine_beta5.apk and then I downloaded the XTHEME deusX Android (yellow theme) from the playstore. Nice colos and textures throughout the os now. You can also change the folder icons to orange in root explorer, matches the theme quite nicely!

                                Larger parameter files

First thanks Wasser for your efforts. Ive been using this for sometime and by far the best rom ive tried to date.

Ive since ran out of app space. Is there any other parameter files I can use... or parhaps an alternative solution?
