    Has anyone found a way of connecting this ROM with a PC via USB to transfer files etc?

    As mentioned a couple of times already in thread. Unable to connect to PC at all.

    Thanks

      This ROM is very nice I tried it shortly with no problems. Looking forward to future updates!

      ...maybe you would consider including the modules needed to mount a network drive locally, like here

      Thanks for giving us 4.4.2 on Minix X7

        The parameters for the mali.ko module seem very outdated in 'init.rk30board.rc'. To test values which would better reflect the GPU frequencies available in the current kernel config I created a boot.img with the following entry:

        Code:
        insmod /system/lib/modules/mali.ko mali_dvfs=133,200,266,300,400,600,798 mali_init_clock=400
        I haven't experienced any ill effects with the updated values (nor have I seen any immediately obvious benefits either). I'm not even sure what these parameters actually do, since the kernel values appear to always override them:

        Code:
        <4>[   13.628742] Mali: Mali400 inside of rk3188!
        <4>[   13.628782] Mali: mali freq table num : 2
        <4>[   13.628811] Mali: mali freq table :Mali: 384,Mali: 594,Mali:
        <4>[ 13.628885] Mali: init mali clock success
        <4>[ 13.657771] Mali: Mali device driver loaded
        your paramter is for oc kernel and in my opinion it's not suited for default setting.

          CIFS/NFS filesystem is supported in the kernel. You don't need extra modules!

            Ok. How about 'mali_init_clock=133' instead? Then both parameter values would reflect the present day kernel settings:

            Code:
            #
            # GPU Frequency Scaling
            #
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_133=y
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_133_VOLT=975
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_200=y
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_200_VOLT=1000
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_266=y
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_266_VOLT=1025
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_300=y
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_300_VOLT=1050
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_400=y
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_400_VOLT=1100
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_600=y
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_600_VOLT=1250
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_798=y
            CONFIG_RK_GPU_798_VOLT=1325

              That is very good news Did anybody here try this out? Which app is the best one for this job?

              I only tested the ROM version 0.92, and i was wondering how often Wasser releases new versions?

                The rom itself is version 0.92, ever since that was released, all the changes have been Kernel related.

                  it looks fine for me, i will make it by default in next release.

                      Right. I've been running the ROM with my suggested init line for a couple of days now:

                      Code:
                      insmod /system/lib/modules/mali.ko mali_dvfs=133,200,266,300,400,600,798 mali_init_clock=133
                      Benchmarks, such as AnTuTu, do not show any difference one way or another compared to the stock values. But with video playback I really think I'm seeing a positive difference in performance with these values. Maybe it's just wishful thinking since video playback was already close to perfect.

                        This time i flashed the OC kernel. But i don't see how i change values for CPU, DRR and GPU. Should i make the settings in some text-file? Sorry for being so low Hopefully i'll be of some help when i get started

                        Thanks guys!

                          CPU frequencies can be adjusted with e.g. the 'no-frills CPU Control' app. DDR speed is always locked to just one frequency (in this case 720). To my knowledge there is no way to adjust the GPU speeds in userspace.

                            I can hook up my wireless danish keyboard just perfectly! Very nice!

                            I have a few problems with this ROM:

                            - I tried to hook up my NAS via CIFS, but no luck. Tried to mount as /mnt/sdcard/ and /mnt/cifs/. i used the app CifsManager.

                            - The box crashed for me 3 times. It crashed so hard that it loops in boot animation after powercycling. All 3 times i was watching Netflix through UnblockUS (i don't think UnblockUS has anything to do wth it though, but i do need to use static IP settings for LAN to define the correct DNS servers). This happens 2 times with normal kernel and 1 time with OC kernel.

                            - I tried to install a paid app from market. Like Molle i also got a '-24' error.

                            The crashing really saddens me. There is nothing else to do than reflash. Every time i do an erase in the flashing tool (erase IDB). But as soon as i have a go at US netflix as described above, it dies

                              I've installed this rom last night, however quite often the screen goes haywire (scrambled screen nothing can be view when this happens) and the box shuts off. Anyone experiencing or had the same issue. I flashed this rom using my pc and tried both kernels stock 1080p and the oc kernel one without luck.

                              Thanks in advance!

                                can anybody aid wasser, the faster people respond to this, the faster new stuff is implemented. I personally do not have a SPDIF receiver, but those who do can help.
