I really would like to try this rom,I'm using qs3.1 now.
Is it a good time to install the 1.0.4 now?
What I mean is that I can wait if there are plans for a new version.

@wasser great job, but there are still two problems to solve:
1 - restart with the mouse A2 sound does not stay where it is set
2 - always after reboot if I put an external sdcard is no longer detected, but I have to pull it out and reinsert it

1. The problem has been around for sometime and is minor, though a fix would be nice

2. Not happening on my setup.
Have you tried a different SD card?

I use an old PS2 pad with a 'psx to usb' converter i found very cheap on ****. Works perfectly, no need to set up any key maps or stuff like that.

Also I had this cheap 100kr USB Joypad. I tore it apart and used the circuit board + cable to build the perfect arcade stick :-D I built a case, ordered some arcade buttons and a stick. I put the whole thing together over a weekend. Very easy even if you have minimal soldering skills, and it is perfect for MAME!

But I also heard that X7 firmware will work on the UT2......maybe we don't need a UT2 version?

Is this Rom basically stable? I tried an older version Wasser KK and a finless custom Rom but I found the stock Minix 008 more stable in the end. I only need to be able to play my mkv 1080p videos and 3d videos with Mxplayer (xbmc sometimes) and youtube. Will the Kasser minix x8 rom work for x7 since x8 is amlogoc and X7 is rockchip?

This ROM is very very stable and I can play any 1080p video with XBMC.
YouTube app also works very well.
The ROM for X8 are completely different from the ROM for X7...

Anyone experienced problems with wifi/ethernet having trouble keeping ip and disconnects ?

now i dont think it is because of this fantastic ROM 1.0.4 in itself, but it could be. I have made like 10 boxes to familiy and friends now and just one is anyoing right now.

If it is not the Rom, what can be done - RMA or static ip or ?
