I personally use Clean Master Phone Boost from the Google Play store as it supports Root if your X7 rom is rooted to support bulk app moves to your new SDHC card.

If you choose to try the app, open it and choose app manager at bottom right of main screen then select Move at top far right tab. It should then list all and only the apps that can be moved, you can then select all of them at once and choose move.

Note: if you still have no option to move the app, this may be due to a specific limitation or problem with the ROM although I do believe Wasser's ROM doesnt have any issues moving supported apps that can be moved. Some apps unfortunately cannot be moved so checked other apps first to ensure this isnt a problem with the rom itself.

I have been watching recordings of the BBC Proms taken from the BBC HD satellite signal
Fast up and down motion, of the conductors arm and baton, or violin bows
creates a weird horizontal striations, almost like a moire pattern

I am using Wasser 1.0.4 with Wasser XMBC

I have tried changing the various interlace parameters in XMBC but no help
also looked at all the motion parameters of the Samsung Smart TV, only a few months old

Reading today I tried the latest SPMC but that exhibits the same problem

MX Pro does not exhibit the problem, but does not play smoothly either, hanging on single frames
from time to time, so that is not an option

I only see the problem on these BBC HD transmissions, and whilst mildly irritating it does not
detract from the delicious detail in the HD audio stream

BTW the latest SPMC does support passthru now

I'm guessing you may have already tried changing the different display refresh rates on the X7 along with changing HDMI cables and even different OC kernels?

Yes I have tried all the display rate settings
but not the cable or kernal.

I am not using OC and the problem only occurs with one set of torrent files sourced from BBC HD satellite
so I am pretty sure it is down to the way XBMC handles these data streams.

You could always try installing bbc iplayer from google play or aptoide along with hola to play the official archived streams of the bbc proms to see if you still have the problem. Possibly a codec or bad encoding problem.

The quality of the streams for iplayer are well below those of the HD satellite broadcasts
The iplayer is CD quality (44khz) , but the satellite is like a 192Khz file

The iplayer is CD quality (44khz) , but the satellite is like a 192Khz file

The frequency range, at least in this case where we are talking CD quality and above, has nothing to do with the perceived stream audio quality. 44kHz encompasses the full human hearing range and then some. Maybe you were thinking about the bit rate? E.g. 96kbps vs. 320kbps doesn't take an audiophile to hear the difference.

Bbc iplayer on android doesn't stream in high bitrate HD so I assume the audio stream is of lesser quality.

Iplayer does stream in HD on a PC with flash enabled browser although have no idea what quality the audio steam is.

I reformatted the SD both in acronis disk director on windows laptop and in android but it still won't show options to move apps to SD. It shows SD as mounted though.

Maybe with app2sd or other apk...
