Hi karel, thanks for the xbmc build . could you or someone please test if it works fine with patched libmedia.so.
If it works i will add it in 0.96 release which i plan to release at this weekend.

Some highlights of next coming 0.96 release:

For me I have no problem with NFS

Hey! what is your method to do nfs work ?

No way with : busybox mount -o rw,intr,hard,nolock -t nfs 192.168.1.104:/volume1/Films /mnt/sdcard/nfs/Films.... Command via terminal is OK but /mnt/sdcard/nfs/Films is empty!

Same method succed with Stock X7 rom, or Quickshot 2 rom, but no way with this 4.4.2....

Just flashed the ROM and so far it works better than all other ROMS that I have tried. Video playback is smooth. The only few issues that I've come across so far are following

1) Sound output selection resets after restart.

2) Not all buttons work on A2. Three main buttons Home, Options and Recent Apps don't do anything. Is there any fix for this ?

3) Wifi Display does not work. Tried it with Note 3 and Surface Pro 2. It tries to connect but fails.

Request:
- Add option for restart in power menu.
- Hide task bar by default.

No passthrough with WKK 0.95 and patched libmedia...

Thanks 4 compilation & upload - works nicely with this libmedia.so at least in Cloudproject KK ROM - haven't tried yet with l8test wasser's.

Same behaviour if I put libmedia from Miracle rom.
I'm doing something wrong?

KitKat-4.4.2 for Minix X7

Hi,
if I substitute libmedia.so with libmedia_kitkat.so I get a lot of errors (related to media and sound) and no app is working.
I tried the "karel" XBMC and "XBMCZ" (from here: http://minixforums.com/threads/how-t...-19#post-44703) with orignal working libmedia.so with no luck...
Same behaviour if I put libmedia from Miracle rom.
I'm doing something wrong?

I assume you renamed the libmedia_kitkat.so to libmedia.so ? And that after substitution you changed the permissions back?

If so, then you need some help from stafstrom or another developer to patch the file correctly. (I also read in this threat that it did work with The miracle rom.)

do i make any mistake during flashing?

Hi Wasser and all user,
I install Android Terminal Emulator, and copy the kernel i wanted , renamed as kernel.img and put it under /sdcard (mnt/sdcard) directory, i type "flash_image kernel/sdcard/kernel.img" and it reply"usage: flash_image parition file.img"
Am i success to flash the kernel?

The procedure worked for me in terminal emulator was:

# su -
# flash_image kernel /mnt/external_sd/kernel-minix-x7-ddr800-cpu1800h-gpu798h.img
# reboot

sound problem

I found a problem while playing music (Mp3, youtube...) by many players. The sound periodly stops then resumes. The break time is very short (about 1s) but it's very annoyed.

Yes

I experience the same when watching video with MX Pro
the video is continuous, but there is the very short break in sound from time to time.
Possibly more likely if the video is 720 or 1080, but that may just be a
subjective assessment
