NEW - Lollipop - wasser firmware 3.0.6 for Minix Neo X7

Wasser is an absolute star!! I wish I could build Roms and kernels and I would help. This is a great ROM by the way, easily as good as Minix 008 if not better. Video playback from my HDD I would say is better than 008 and the latest nightly XBMC runs superbly.

Bluetooth works and all volume ranges w/bluetooth

HDMI output still broken where only get 100% volume with vol+, or 0% volume with vol-, mute doesn't work. If it helps when you press vol- it goes to 0%, then if you press vol- again it goes to mute.

Also noticed that when you flash everything from scratch, it starts as 720p/50hz. Not sure if it isn't recognizing the monitor correctly or if that is just a default you set in your img.

I need to checkout now for a bit.

When you added the support for the remote - what did you add? Driver for infrared + file for the keymap?

My questions is because Minix has added an A2 airmouse driver to the original firmware, and this is causing conflicts with other remotes (Mele F10 Pro or Logitech K520)

I'm just wondering what I need to edit to make sure I can add support for another remote.

Might even be possible to add something to the 'settings ' section where you can choose what remote you have - and that it loads that driver so there is no conflicts anymore (no shutdowns).

Is this a kernel configuration or are you sideloading drivers ?

Pluto reported that headphone jack works for him in one of the kernel from yesterday.

1 it's up to you, if there's good keymap for A2 airmmouse just reuse, improves it. Please send it to me so i can add it into next release

Thats always like that, all roms have this, u have to mute the TV, it will output from both sources.

Wasser, the kernel u fixed the sound buttons was the version that had sound on the 3.5mm jack.

Will test the new Kernel as soon as im home.

Flashing just the kernel image is safe. You don't lose any settings.

i'm glad that the base functionality (wifi, ethernet, bluetooth) works now. I want to thank all (especially Pluto and soyrme) who helped me to get the kernel working.
