    Found this post: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post139444
is it that boot your using, or did you update it later ?
That image is for 0.95 and not compatible with later Wasser ROMs. I'll upload the one I'm using with 1.0.4 later today.

The only change I have made to the boot scripts is this.
What does the init line do?

It aligns the GPU speed steps for the mali.ko kernel module with the values available in RK3188 kernel sources. HardwareGuru, for example, uses this fix in his ROMs. The default values are legacy stuff.

Here's the modified boot image for Wasser 1.0.4:

Flash / use at your own risk.

Thanks  possible to flash like kernel in terminal?

Edit: flashed both kernel and boot in terminal, seems to be working.

Netflix not so laggy more, skips a frame some times, but not as before..
So Molle, for now i think you have saved My x7 a little more time :-)

Flashing it will improve GPU performance?

To my eyes video playback seems/feels smoother with this patch. AnTuTu Benchmark doesn't show any difference either way.

Now we are talking about optimizing, what are the best settings in no-frills CPU control? :-)

                    Thanks again..

Can I flash it with RKAndroidTool as boot along with overclock kernel in one go?

                            In short, yes.

                              Hi Molle,

You say your mod is based on OC kernel v1.0.3a; it´s the OTG-USB port working on this mod?. Wasser OC kernels v1.0.3 and v1.0.3a have the OTG port "dead". If in your mod work, that would be fantastic!. Thanks for your answer.

Hey Wasser! First of all i want to thank you for a very good ROM.
I Am BanditenSWE and pretty new to all this with CUFW (Custom Firmwares). I've installed your ROM and it works very well but with minor issues.

Firmware Install - was simple and i had no problems. Just followed the guide.

                                01. First watch this youtube video http://youtu.be/zbGp8WL4vu4 that shows you what you have to do and how to flash for success.
                                02. Install drivers (windows will find them auto if you are on Windows Vista or later ,, Win 7 or Win 8).
                                03. If the RK3188 drivers now are installed then continue to 04. (Otherwise watch the video again).
                                04. Put your Minix next to your PC with no cables attached.
                                05. Connect Your Minix to your PC with the included usb cable. (PC USB - Minix OTG Port).
                                06. Connect power cord to your Minix .
                                07. Take a paperclip or tooth picker and press it into the "reset" hole on the side of the Minix.
                                08. Hold it pressed down.
                                09. Press and hold the Minix power button, until you here a "connect sound", then you can release both power and reset.
                                10. NOW YOU ARE IN FLASHMODE.
                                11. Locate the RKBatchTool on the PC and run it.
                                12. IF ALL IS OK YOU SHOULD GET A GREEN LIGHT IN CONNECTED DEVICES 1
                                13. Where it says "FW Path" you must hit the button to the right and find your firmware. When you located it, just mark it and press Open.
                                14. At the bottom, hit the "RESTORE" button.
15 If you get an OK just plug it to the TV again power on the Minix and wait 3-5 minutes for the system to boot up.
                                16. Reeboot and Enjoy.

                                Playing Videos

                                Playing from external 500GB HDD

                                Hell On Wheels 720p

Android - MX Player Pro - Picture is VERY GOOD. Sound seems ok. (in some cases the video seems to buffer in the first 5-15 seconds)

Android - XBMC Gotham 13.2 - Picture is GOOD. (same as in MX Player, the video seems to buffer even when the source is on local drive).

Minix Reboots sometimes - i suspect it is because the heat with a modified rom

im tired i will write more tomorrow see you all - Bandit
