I suppose you know about reseting the screen scale after reboot in 3.1 version.
Please place this file into /system/bin folder and it will fix the issue.
All other users can copy it to /system/bin folder via ADB (or wireless ADB) and set the 755 permission to it.
We all are waiting for your future fixes.
    This is great.

I found couple of more files overthere.

Fps file has value 51, for my setting 1920x1080x50i. The correct value should be 25 or something like this:

    1920x1080x60p value 60
    1920x1080x50p value 50
    1920x1080x60i value 30
    1920x1080x50i values 25

Perhaps it should be fixed too.

      Request D33 Kernel v4.2 overclocked

Hi all, I have succesfully installed in my TV Stick MK809III T VERSION, the Neomode Custom ROM 3.1 with D33 Kernel versione 4.2!
Everything works like a charm, frequencies are CPU 1.6GHZ , DDR 720, GPU Stock.

      ANTUTU
      : 18943! @1080P

      I have also tested overclocked 4.0 kernel and I have this results;

CPU 1.9GHZ DDR STOCK GPU STOCK: Stop at logo boot
CPU 1.8GHZ DDR STOCK GPU STOCK: Work, but when I set in nofrillscpu at 1.8ghz and performance, after 30sec of load the stick reboot, so not stable.
CPU 1.7GHZ DDR 720 GPU STOCK: WORKS.

      So I have two question:

1)I can't push my CPU over 1.7GHZ beacuse of the PSU limit (5V 2A) or because I have a T Version CPU?

      2) Where I can find Overclocked 4.2 kernel? I have tried to make it with rkpatchomatich but I have empty table (because they are compressed)

      Thanks.

P.S I have extra cooling solution, like a FAN and Dissipator on ram and cpu. (so no heating problem)

            Hey neomode,

Did you see my WiFi problem? Seems like the DNS setting gets borked at least in DHCP mode. When I set it to manual with fixed DNS servers it's better but not yet perfect.

Thanks for creating this otherwise great ROM! ^_^

                Neo, what about this.

When upgrading kernles in my phone, which is Android based system also, problems with Wifi and Bluetooth we solve with coping proper xxxx.ko files into system/lib/modules folder.

I have two files for my Wifi and Bluutooth chip and after I install some kernel without support for my hardware, it is so easy to copy just two xxx.ko files in the folder. After that Wifi and Bluetooth start working immediatelly, no need for reboot.

What do you think if it is possbile in TV Sticks also, where we can try to find all proper xxxx.ko files for different Wifi and Bluetooth chips, put them in rar archive, upload somewhere for people who can just copy them to exact folder in order to make it work.

                Interesting idea.

I have also got another of these that I could upload the rom from - or provide any other assistance you would require. (Maybe even send you one?)

                      Cheers
Thanks for this link. Wifi and bluetooth are working again. I think its the stock R-box firmware that came with the stick. Also, I have tested the neomode kitkat rom before this. It was working real smooth except for the wifi and bluetooth. Hopefully we can get Neomode with 8723bs support

A big THANKS from me. I have to try this, when i get home from work.

                          1. Now i only have two problems left. It seems that my remote MeLE F10 Pro is stealing the audio output device on each boot. I have to set it to HDMI output manually each time my CX919 Stick boots up.
Has anyone a solution for this problem?

                          2. I can't say if this problem is rom or xbmc related??? I can't change output resolution in XBMC 13.1 Gotham
Resolution is 720p but i can't change it. When i set 1080p in Android, XBMC still shows 720p.
Is this a bug in the rom, that i can set resolution to 1080p but it's still 720p, or is this a XBMC bug?
                          Anyone who can help?
I would prefer to keep this rom on my CX919, because it is the fastest i have tried until now.
                          (Thanks Neomode!!!)

Beside the problems you're mentioning I'm also experiencing WiFi problems. I can't even seem to add addons from any repository, (XBMC or fusion) because of it. It was the first time that I've flashed with Linux so I'm not certain if I did anything wrong with flashing.

If you have the same remote as me, i can give you a simple solution. The problem lies within the remote and it's wifi signal. I had the same issues as you.
Until i noticed, that wifi signal breaks down immediately after i pressed only one button on the remote.
They both have the same frequency!
Then i took a 2m usb extension cable and tried a few positions where i can hide the Wifi adapter (from remote) until it worked.
                              Now Wifi works well.
But as i said, you surely have to try more locations until it works as you would like it.

I have exactly that remote but didn't have issues until this ROM (and I don't think I have an USB extension cord laying about =(
I do however have a wired mouse and that indeed solved the issue. I would like to use that remote but for now it's a good enough workaround.
