    POWER!

I've read people powering it up via the OTG port but I don't have any idea how it's all connected internally.
You could try and see what happens...

    It could actually work.
(or it could damage the device)

    Regards
All of the USB ports are connected internally and share a common ground. The standard USB port is on the same 'header' as the uUSB port that is not the 'power' port. The 'power' port is just missing traces for data on the board, as only two dedicated devices can be connected to one 'header' on a single controller. Of course from either of those, you can daisy chain.

At least this is my understanding. If one were to have a USB A-A, or A-uA connector around, I suppose you could test this, but it should surely work (powering from OTG).

As for using two supplies at once, it might not work that easy. I'm pretty sure the current will pull mostly from one until it the supply maxes/fails, then the remainder will come from the 2nd supply. At least this is how it works with linear regulators such as the LM317 or LM7805 (Which is pretty much what every cheap charger uses)

    Parallel regulator example

But for the record, 3A is a considerable amount of current in these little things. I wouldn't think the device would be requiring 3A just trying to boot.

      Hi all again.
      And thanks for the answers.
I tried everything i could imagine. And i couldn`t make it work with gpu and ddr unlocked.
It might be something with these sticks (i read others with these sticks in d33 kernels post having the same problem like me with these sticks).
I tried to overclock the ddr with overvoltage and leave the gpu at stock freq with some overvoltage too, but nothing again.
Any more ideas are welcome. I think i am stuck.
And the best is that my brothers cx919 worked perfect with any d33 kernel i choose. Even with oced one.
      I don`t get it.

Could you open both devices to check if they're the same?
Also, check if the PCB (chip board) has some printed code begginning with "CYXTECH..." or something.

        Greetingz.

I would like to give contribution.

There is a problem with a sound flick in this rom. I am not interested in overclocking, only want to have descent stream of fullhd video. Sound has a problem with flickers.

My hardware MK802IV new wife with D33 modified kernel 4.0, everything is excellent, only sound and sometimes vied has flickers. I am not willing to buy any new power unit, not interest in overclocking, my only question is to Neomode, could you try to fix this flickers of video and sound.

All other things are fine, the best rom ever, thanks to Neo and D33.

Sound in kitkat polls the device for whats it capable of and if there no response there is no sound.

Now flickering video and sound could be the player your using or certainly the power.
Also the Mk802IV are picky sometimes and you may need to use D33 no gpu no ddr kernels rather then the ovcerclock ones.

              Thank you Magnus33.

My point was about only sound flickers. I used exactly D33 kernel nogpu noddr overclocking with intention to have descent youtube and others streams. Not interested here to overclock at all.

Video is mostly all right but somehow sound has flicker every 5 seconds or so. Does not matter if I play SD, HD od FullHD video stream, sound flickers are present. It could be a bug to be fixed or it could be lack of my knowledge about hot to fix it.

If you have some trick I would appreciate a lot to know it.

This sounds like gpu-related issue. I recently made a custom overclockomatic patch with "moderate" values: [see thread].
Default OC freq values are higher (800Mhz) and they need power, so I lowered them a bit (768Mhz) in order to work with less voltage.

                Greetingz.

Could you please clarify. I use kernel which is not overclocked at all, just »stock« frequencies. What is wrong to have sound flickers.

Perhaps your device isn't reaching an adequate voltage or needs a little more.
You should elevate its voltage (with same Mhz/speed) and try again.

Fine explanation, I can not do that, since it is beyond my knowledge.

I read your tread it is very confusing, maybe I will wait for finalised kernel or some other more friendly way to make this voltage and speeds in proper way.

Your going to find that some of the MK802IV have very picky gpu.

One of mine doesn't overclock the gpu worth a damn but the other can go to the limit and back if i wish.

As mentioned try a kernel with slightly slower gpu settings and if that doesn't fix it you may have a defective model (had one of those too)

Maybe you did not understand me. I am not using overclocked kernels at all. Just those with stock frequencies for CPU, GPU or DDR.

With previous Neos ROMs there were no problems with sound on and off flickers.

I likr this KitKat upgraded ROM it is real fast. The problems I have are sound flickers and the other obe when I change screen scale ROM will not remember it.

                            Huh?
Why would only the MK802 have a picky GPU?
They're all using the same SoC.
I know there's a little variance between SoC's of the same type but why would this only affect one device?

Seriously, if this is true I'm really wondering why....

Could be better if we can check that we have the same chipset in our own devices... just to ensure it's not a fake one ...

                                But still, a RK3188(T) is a RK3188(T).
The wifi chip or whatever other extra chips won't change this.
All essential peripherals are on the SoC so why should It matter?
The performance of the bare SoC will be more or less identical.
