I don't know if it's a coincidence, but I have a keyboard with a touch pad. In previews releases I can tap the touch pad for a mouse click but it doesn't work for this release.

Just fix the problem that the screen padding setting (the one that enlarge/shrink the screen width/height) doesn't save the settings after a shutdown or a reboot, and it will be perfect! Thank you

My mk809iii updated to version 4.4.2 and the audio stopped working, when I install the previous version the audio works normally ... What could have happened? Anyone know how to solve the problem?

There's no solution yet. Try another TV and it will probably work. The new kernels ask your TV to report capability. If the tv doesn't communicate back, you get no sound. One of my tv's is this way, but the other two work fine.

The old kernel audio driver defaults to stereo, so in theory the new kernels are better.

I asked neomode if the old audio drivers could be added as options in settings. But I am not sure if it's possible.

As some have mentioned there really wasn't much wrong with this one.
Works great with D33 kernels and its quite stable.

A few settings not remaining set after a reboot, location services being stuck off if not turned on on first start.

Missing keyboard.
And a few missing features like daydreams and cheapcast. (think both are still there just controls missing)

Otherwise its stability made stock roms look bad.

Ohh and of course sharks with lasers

Help pls...its my first time to flash on an android stick...i hve this device mk809III..i want to try this rom..but im having problems rooting it.....anybody care to give me good instructions..pls..thanks..paper clip not working it doenst recognize device..as i hold it for 3-5 sec.for me to install
Driver...i did how many times..any other ways guys...thanks..am i doing something worng..here is my android stick..

Where to start.

First its not rooting its flashing a rom.
What OS you doing it on?
Are you pushing the buttion? just sticking a paper clip in does no good unless your hitting it.
Are you pushing the buttion as you plug into the micro usb on the side?

Finless Bob's ROM packages contain very good readme file. I learn the driver installing and ROM flashing process from there. It also comes with the drivers you need. Just download any ROM package from Finless Bob, and read the readme file. All the answers are there.

Windows 7..yes i was pushing it: the reset button with paper clip...5 seconds or more but its not responding..tnx for reply..

Its not 5 sec.

You hold the button down as you plug in the usb to the side usb port.
If done correctly it should show device found in flash tool.

At that point you erase idb and then click run after thats done.

Of course all this requires the correct driver to be installed which can be done easily with this tool.
Otherwise windows 7 diver signature verification can block the driver install.

In rare cases if the device is stuck you need to use the stock roms and flasher for that.

With that open and the device plugged into the side usb all these devices tend to show up eventually at which point you can click restore and flash the device.

After that its a simple matter to do as instructed for neo rom and flash that.

Once you got the windows machince setup with the driver and you done it once its dead simple after that.
Hitting that stupid little buttion the hardest part.
