Some icons disappeared.
I installed the firmware on MK809III. Next, I installed applications. And after restart, some icons disappeared from the desktop. I arranged them again, reboot, and again SOME disappear.
Anyone know why?
EDIT:
I found a solution, SD card starts with a delay. The icons of the applications installed on the SD card disappear.

Setting up 1.6Ghz CPU on RK3188 again...
If you have speed restrictions on your RK3188 stick (1.4Ghz instead 1.6Ghz) here's a quick solution:
- Download d33 kernel from here: http://www.freak-tab.de/d33/kernel_v4.00_TVSTICK.zip
- Open Neomode's flash tool (RKAndroidTool) uncheck all files, keep check on Kernel option.
- Replace default kernel.img with d33 kernel: (kernel_v4.0_TVSTICK\kernel_TVSTICK_AP6210.img)
- Press RUN and enjoy!
Could somebody explain how to fix Low Framerate issues on Main Screen and SW Acceleration with this kernel?
Greetings.

Last time I tried a D33-kernel with a neomode-rom it was much slower in the over all desktop performance than Neomodes kernels. Is this new kernel still able to oc the T-chip? Can it passtrough DD/DTS?.
Where can I find this new kernel?
Best regards,

One annoying thing with 3.1 is that movies stops after about 21 minutes. Then I have to press play again and if I'm lucky the movie will play to the end. Anyone else experiencing this?

Can anyone confirm which firmware works with a RK3188_BOX_SZY_X6 TV box? Do I need the new version or old? Thanks

Smooth UI Menu with D33 (720p) kernel... finally!
D33 just released KitKat SD (1280x720p) 4.0 Kernel versions for our RK3188 devices:
Just follow this guide to replace kernel:
- Open Neomode's flash tool (RKAndroidTool) uncheck all files, keep check on Kernel option.
- Replace default kernel.img with d33 kernel (img file).
- Press RUN and enjoy!
Now Menu user interface looks smooth and faster!!!

Anyone here have installed and tested this new 4.0 Kernel + Neomode 3.1 ROM in the CX-919 with FULL RK3188 (Not T)?
d33 mentioned that this new kernel works at:
CPU: 1.6 GHZ, GPU: 600 MHz, DDR: 720 MHz
HD resolution (1920x1080)
SD resolution (1280x720)
Single kernel for all SOCs (this is overclock for RK3188T)
wichoxp why you installed the SD and not the HD version of the kernel. Does the HD version runs slower?Last edited by ulises1954; 27 April 2014, 14:13.

HD version is ok but UI has several frame skipping... and it feels slower than SD.

Hi to all.
I'm trying whole day to flash my MK809III Anrdoid 4.2 stick with RK3188 chip.
When I'm entering in flash mode(holding reset button with a clip and connecting OTG port to the USB of my PC) I see this screen on my TV, but my PC doesn't recognize the stick. I have tryed with Windows XP and Windows 8, installed drivers successfully.
It do recognize it when I turn the stick on and select connect to PC option, and than PC see it as mass storage external disk. Also RKAndroidTool see it but than can't flash, I'm getting error: "msc can't do erase idb".
I have also done rooting, and tryed to write this in terminal:
su
reboot bootloader
It do power off stick, but no black screen is appearing and PC doesn't recognize in either. It just says no HDMI signal on TV.
I'm trying this version: "Neomode Custom Rom MK809III Version 3.1 Android 4.4.2 *Update*"
Please help me!

I just finished trying the SD kernel with this rom. It works great on my RK3188T Mk809iii with two exceptions. My antutu score was 19500 and my 1080p videos played really smooth. I'm going to try the HD kernel now. The problems are the following:
1) Sound was incompatible with one of my screens. The ROM is to blame.
2) My micro usb otg port will no longer work for my keyboard. The kernel is to blame.
Both worked fine with the stock kernel of neomode 1.9a, but of course - the stick was slow at 1.4 ghz.
