Old Wifi?

I guess I have the old wifi (although I can't tell what the number is for chip when I took it apart)? I cannot get wifi to work on this ... Where can I find the latest ROM for the "old" wifi? Or how do I flash back to stock?

Super nice! Got a working device audio (even 5.1) and all.

I have a rk3188T with a MTK wireless chipset. Would love to have a working kernel for wilress, bluetooth I don't care.

Tried the test MTK kernel: Android 4.4_MT7601_V2.0 it has a reboot loop at startup (even before the boot screen).

Actually I think I have this one ... do you have a custom ROM with working WiFi? Or do you know how I can flash back to stock?

Neomode, Will an new update be forth coming soon. I do like what you've done here but have been hoping for full 1080p with most of the small bugs left worked out. Any chances? I know it's been mentioned a few times. Also for the MK802IV?

mk809III with rk3188T flawless

It would seem the new D33 kernels from rockchip sources may have removed video playback issues.

I installed the 3.1 rom with D33 kernel (AP6210) and it works flawlessly on my Samsung TV, but has some flickering on my Sony TV with 1080p. Thanks for all the good work, Neomode!

This is my second post and I want to thank Neomode for all his effort to improve our Mini PCs... and gave us a better life !!!

I recently bought a GT318 stick (M809III clone) from amazon but it came with video playback issues (frame skipping). After trying many roms, I successfully flashed it with this custom rom and almost everything is ok.

Mostly of the common issues can be fixed like:

• No keyboard? just copy LatinIME.apk (system/app) from another rom and send it by bluetooth.
• No restart/recovery? download Rebooter from play store.
• No screen scaling saved? (in Panasonic TV can be fixed by using HD size tool in video options but this can't be applied on all TVs).
• Black boot intro issue is just cosmetic. I suppose that can be fixed soon.

I only found a really annoying issue: everytime I flashed my stick with this rom, this message appears on CPU Identifier app:

RAM memory module: 2Gb DDR (Usable:1024Mb)

Also, DiskInfo app told me that my current usable RAM was reduced to 1GB.

Looks like there's something on the kernel parameter that is cutting RAM size to half ...
Is there a way to change (or remove) that parameter to use the whole ram?

Is the new D33 kernels "compatible" with Neomode 3.1 rom? Last time I tried a D33-kernel with a neomode-rom it was much slower in the over all desktop performance than Neomodes kernels. Is this new kernel still able to oc the T-chip? Can it passtrough DD/DTS?.

Where can I find this new kernel?
