Now I'm finally geting somewhere thanks to you, Foka002! I have installed XBMC 13.0 Beta 3 (stable) and using hardware acceleration i now have very good (not perfect) 1080p playback.

However...the DD/DTS-passthrough is still not working. All i get is still the same 2-channel PCM. As usual I still get DD/DTS-PASSTROUGH when using MX-PLAYER.

I'm so close to perfection now!!

Maybe try nightlies and check audio settings. Anyway I'm glad I could help a little bit.

Hello Neomode, thx for making this rom.

I got a Tronsmart CX-919 RK3188, I used Bob his 1.6bRom before
This weekend I tested v3.0 with stock flash settings on my stick, it worked well.
Yesterday I flashed v3.1, tried several kernels included en downloaded from D33.
Some worked, some not.

Reboot app, didn't work
Screenscale wasn't perfect
Black screen after bootscreen of Kit Kat
Couldn't activate my Gmail/Playstore
I got a big mouse pointer instead of small

But V3.0 runs better, If you need a tester I'll hear it.

Any suggestions which parameter to use ? 2GB?
And which kernel on next version of your rom?

My CloudnetGo CR9 (MK802IV - AP2610 - Normal CPU) is better than ever!!! The rom is really fast, it took a beating while configuring the whole rom to my taste and (until now) NO SCREEN FLICKERING!!! XBMC Gotham beta3 is working real well too! I will keep testing it because I really don't have time to do a more thorough test...

Once again: THANK YOU!!! This is close to perfection to me!

I'm looking forward to your answer. In my amature eyes this should have something to do with Neomode 3.1 missing something in the operating system for DD/DTS-passtrough that XBMC uses for DD/DTS-passtrough. And MX-player is probably not using the same way as XBMC for DD/DTS-passtrough since its working with MX-player.

Now to my next concern. I have tested three of your oc kernels on my MK809III-T AP6210 and have checked each with No-frills CPU and benchmarked them with Antutu. The resultat is:

Kernel 1.
T-kernel 1604Mhz, stock gpu, 667 ddr.
No-frills CPU shows max 1.4Ghz and min 1.2Ghz.
Highest Antutu score 16750.

Kernel 2.
T-kernel 1604Mhz, stock gpu, 720 ddr.
No-frills CPU shows max 1.4Ghz and min 1.2Ghz.
Highest Antutu score 16566.

Kernel 3.
T-kernel 1704Mhz, stock gpu, 720 ddr.
No-frills CPU shows max 1.2Ghz and min 1.2Ghz!!!!!!!
Highest Antutu score 14455.

These results looks like there is NO oc going on, not even ddr. The 1.7Ghz kernel LOWERS the max GHz to 1.2Ghz which is lower than stock rom that runs on 1.2Ghz to 1.42Ghz. To bad I did not run Antutu on my stock rom before I flashed it to have something to compare with.

Can you explain this to me? Am I doing something wrong or is someone working on a fix?

on my MK802IV work fine, not block but patch kernerl work only at 1.4 max an 1.2 min (try many kernel)

how i can backup data fast and try other kernerl? (setting, app ecc for try only new kernerl?)

On boot KitKat splash screen displays for a second then screen goes black until desktop appears, not really an issue.
WIFI and bluetooth work. My Ipazzport remote connects and works fine.

I have a couple of issues though.

When I go to Playstore and try to use an existing or new account I get an error, Can't reach Google at the moment. Web Browser works fine so I have connectivity. I rebooted my network devices too, didn't help.

When I try reboot app, the system doesn't reboot, I can still navigate desktop screens but can't open apps.

I used 6gb parameter file but I don't think it's working right, when I open Fx app Media Card shows only 312MB but when I go to settings/storage I see internal storage total space 5.91GB and NAND Flash shows 312MB. I quickly run out of space after a few downloads, then downloads become unsuccessful even though Internal storage shows 5.40GB Available. Nand Flash shows only 16.49MB available. So I think the system is not using the extra space. This was happening in the Neomode 1.7 too though.

I'm not sure if this is related to the 3.1 rom but it worked fine in the 1.7 rom version. I installed the XBMC gotham nightly I had been using in the 1.7 version rom, It loads fine but when I try to add a new share from my windows network (smb) I get an error, Operation not permitted.
I'm hoping someone can help me with these issues.
Is there a way to spoof the Nexus 7 again?

I am going to test this new 3.1 Update on my CX-919 V2.0 (with FULL RK3188) today, so would like to know if anyone here have successfully installed this new ROM on the CX-919 and which of the 8 OC kernels works best and safe with this TV-Stick without cooling.?

Neomode already mentioned that a Max 1.7Ghz GPU-Stock DDR667, should work without cooling, and I know that the CX-919 apparently should work with moderate OC without overheat problems, but which of the 8 kernel files should work faster on the CX-919 without overheating or damage the TV-Stick?:

I placed this post yesterday, but don't got any reply...

I already installed the 3.1 ROM with the kernel_cpu1704h_gpustock_ddr667.img on my CX-919 V2.0 (with FULL RK3188), and I am getting 1.7 CPU speed (1.2GHz Min-CPU/1.7GHz Max-CPU) and 19477-19677 with Antutu, but would like to know which of the 8 OC kernels works best and safe with the CX-919 TV-Stick without cooling.?

This 3.1 ROM is Excellent and works "Flawlessly" in my CX-919, however and as other users already mentioned, I only noticed the following little problems:

1. The CPU-Z APP from the Playstore didn't work. This APP didn't start.

2. The Reboot APP didn't work. I Tried to reboot and the System Always hangs.

3. Android doesn't remember 2 settings after reboot. I noticed this with Screen Scale and Sound.

4. The "KITKAT" Red Bootscreen appears only for one second or less (only flash), then I Always get a Black Screen until the Android Desktop appears. Problem is that we don't know if the System is Starting Correct or Not... I think that is better that the "RED KITKAT" Boot Screen Remain Active for More Time (indicating the Starting Process), until the Android Desktop finally appears.

5. I Couldn't activate my Playstore Gmail Account. Always get the "Can't Reach the Google PlayStore at this Moment", and I have to initially activate it using the CHROME Browser.

Neomoded do you think that I should keep using, as you has already suggested, the following OC kernel, to be safe and avoid overheat or damage to my CX-919:

EDIT 2: I think that if you patch the libmedia.so file the DD/DTS-passthrough will work.

But there is no wifi and BT functionality for me... I have the ap6210 1344 wifi chip. Could you please add its drivers?

Thank you but I can't see any Playstore since I can't get past where I enter my email and password
just noticed is the only keyboard and input method is Google voice typing and no on screen keyboard comes up.The keyboard on my ipazzport remote works but the password field disappears when the can't reach google error message comes up. I tried a wired keyboard too and the only keyboard method is still google voice typing.
I wonder if that might be causing the problem? But how to fix it?
