seems like reboot flaw is not only in theis custom rom, tried the official kitkat rom and have to say that it is a bit slower than this one but more stable. but there is the reboot issue there also.
anyone has an idea how to stabilize the rom.
correct me if i am wrong but i read some time ago that cpu freq might cause devices to reboot randomly.
it seems that every time the cpu in the rom is maxed it reboots.

Yes, you install xposed Framework and install rootcloak over the xposed app

tried that....
still get that the app refuses to work because of the device being rooted. tried rootcloak plus as well,, no success

yes, but no success. downloaded xposedframework then installed it and then from the app installed module rootcloak, activated. force closed the app from the cable provider. rebooted adn still doesnt work, says device is still rooted



back to the OT, tried other kernels in the folder provided with the rom, som of them seem a bit more stable. I guess the reboot issue might be due to cpu/gpu freq... not sure but just an idea.

Hallo,

i have got a MK809III 3188T with new wlan chipset. Because of the terrible wlan i tried to use power lan or lan to get a good connection to www . But the mk809iii does not recognize the power lan adapter. Lan connection the same problem. The ethernet/usb adapter recognized the Lan and power lan.....but not the mk809iii. He only got a mac number after connecting to network. But no entry to the network adresses. There is no possibility to turn on dhcp in stick settings. I have flashed the ncr_31_mk809III_kitkat.

Someone any idea? The stick is running fine with this rom....but no realy good connection to web.

Neomod is your ROM using a linux kernel? can I use your kernel to boot into a headless linux like linuxium?
I tried linuxium but it seems it's nand driver is outdated and can not detect my nand but your system does it nicely.
please let me know if there is any way of using your kernel for booting into linux. thanks in advance!

- Backup your original rom with ArcTools apk (once installed, install CWM from there).
- Neo's rom came with its own kernel. You can try it or choose d33 kernels.
- Change storage size in Parameter from FlashTool (select parameter6gb from rockdev folder).

Is it "normal" for CPU-Z to read the 3188 SOC as a 4x core RK3066? That seems odd and yet vaguely familiar. I've seen it previously here in another thread.

I am using the Microsoft RDP App to access a server with terminal services and need to make the stick have a custom host name. None of the apps work and even checking the hostname in a terminal session doesn't match.

Hello, thanks for your work. I have tried your rom and it flashes ok, but unfortunately my variation of the MK809iii has the rtl8723 chip... so wifi is not working...

Does anyone have a working ROM for my version? are there plans to support this chip in your releases?

If none of those is the case, could you advise me how to revert to stock rom so I can return the device?
