      Try the follow to remove the Error. First make a "Erase IDB" then try to Flash it again.
      Also you can try a different USB Port or USB Cable.

        1.How can I change the hostname of my stick?

        I am using the Microsoft RDP App to access a server with terminal services and need to make the stick have a custom host name. None of the apps work and even checking the hostname in a terminal session doesn't match.
        In a terminal session you can check and change the name. (Will hold until next reboot)

        su
        To view current device name type;
        getprop net.hostname
        To change name type;
        setprop net.hostname new_name
        Now disconnect/reconnect wifi and your device now shows as new_name

        To make the name change permanent:
        You can add this line to build.prop using a text editor, then rebooting. It worked for me.
        net.hostname=new_name

              back to the OT, tried other kernels in the folder provided with the rom, som of them seem a bit more stable. I guess the reboot issue might be due to cpu/gpu freq... not sure but just an idea.
              Now i have the Solution.

              Install this small Tool:

                BUMP!

                Any KitKat support for webcams yet? Anybody working on this? Is there a link I can go check status of this? Thanks!

                  It's kind of ironic, but while once I was willing to pay more for a true RK3188 stick, now I'm finding myself disappointed that all of mine aren't RK3188T. :-)

                  Bear with me - I bought a batch of 6 MK809III from the same vendor to get as groomsmen gifts. The first two were true RK3188's, and I almost returned the rest.

                  But with more recent kernels from D33, and the Nitro Team - the RK3188T sticks work wonderfully well with this Kit Kat Rom and the Nitro Team's Rom.

                  My RK3188 sticks however - won't work if I try to install the Nitro Team ROM for the MK902 (Fantastic ROM BTW) - and/or a D33 1080P kernel. I can install this ROM (Neomode 3.1) stock 720P, but as soon as I use a 1080P Kit Kat kernel - the RK3188 sticks won't boot.

                  I'm going to try to install the kernel that came with Neomode 3.0 on top of Neomode 3.1, to see if that might help. If anyone else has any suggestions for 1080P Kit Kat, I would appreciate them. Otherwise, I'm chuckling that my RK3188T sticks are outperforming the regular ones.

                    KitKat SD-Problems

                    Hi neomode,

                    in just flashed your 3.1 rom at my mk809iii with dd33 4.2 HD kernel. Everything is working fine exept one thing: KitKat introduces a new limitation for non-system-apps, they can not write to external sdcard. At xda there seems to be a solution for most androids http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...2617921&page=5. or here. Unfortunately this does not work at your rom. So titanium can not write to external sd card (but internal backup makes no sense...), dailyme app can not write at all (and dailyme at a tv-stick is a must have!). Any chance to fix it?

                    Thanks for your great work!

                      accelerometer inverted on games

                      I flashed this ROM on my MK802IV and when done I completed some fixing about, but there is a problem with accelerometer!
                      When I try to connect RKM Remote app as joypad to my dongle, the coordinates of X & Y on asphalt 8 (and more other games) are inverted.
                      I think could be a problem with version of sensors.rk30board.so on /system/lib/. I searched the original lib for MK802IV, but I didn't find it.
                      Could you help me? I don't know if the solution could be there .

                        I hope this doesn't count as poaching. Neomode - if you want me to remove this comment I will, I don't mean to distract from your great work.

                        But if you're using an MK809III with RK3188T, you might try the quickshot 3.1 rom for the mk902. This feature worked well - I wrote to my microSD card via torrent app regularly.

                        The 2 cautions are that:

                        1) I flashed D33's 4.1 HD kernel on top, because stock the quickshot rom was heating up my stick a lot due to higher voltage in the kernel.

                        2) It didn't work on my regular RK3188 stick. It wouldn't boot. It will only take neomode 3.1 Kitkat.

                          I don't know if this is rom related but I can't install any external apk. It won't let me press the install button. I only am able to press the cancel button. Does anybody know what can be wrong. I have search the forum but I can't find any thing about this problem. I have neomode 3.1 with d33 4.2 kernel. Installed.

                            Try to disable DroidMote Server, that was my problem (I still don't understand why, but it worked for me)

                              Some news. I extracted the original system.img, got the old sensors.rk30board.so & sensors.goldfish.so from /system/lib/hw/ and then I replaced the same ones into Nand root.
                              But nothing, the problem is Not Solved ! Any idea ?

                                Think the problem is your Phone not my Rom.
                                Some sort of error with RK Remote.
