adb shell or a terminal, yes. Make sure you "su" first.

Do this first:

 
pm get-install-location

Note what is set to, usually 0, in case 1 or 2 doesn't work you can put it back to how it was.

I have clone MK809III with old WI-FI - Kimdecent CS898.
Wi-Fi Realtek 8188 in my device do not work in this firmware.

I need to go into the display options to stretch the borders a bit but when I reset I lose this.

Hi Neomode. Some time ago I wrote here because I had installed this update in my MK809III and wasn't working well untill you told me to use the power adapter that came with the device. And it began to work excellent. Now I just want to let you know that I found an issue (at least in my device). Every time I turn on the device, the screen is not at its full size. I use it in a led tv and I see black bars surrounding the image. So I go to the settings and change the screen size untill it covers all the screen. But when I turn it off, these settings go back to the previous state. So the next time, I have to change them again.

Read a few pages back, the solution is in this very thread. there is a displayd file you need to swap.

Likely a good idea for someone to upload a modded system file since some wont be able to copy it over.

Not all here got coding chops and some are just experienced enough for rom flashing.

I guess I can create a system.img with the change, and probably properly root it, but that will have to wait until I get back from work, about to leave to work now. Another optopn is PM me for a CS928 from Tech1 stripped down for our systems which will allow installing 1, 2, 4 or 6 GB data partitions. (The 6 gb data partition will not fit on the 8gb I believe, so you can only go up to 4gb Data, *MORE* than enough...

Hello, how do I change the kernel? choose the program a new, flash, after reboot there is only one version of the frequency of 1.4GHz

Got one of these sticks coming soon Neomode , can't wait to try this rom. Something new for me to play around with, kinda bored with how unsmart my tv is.

Grab D33 kernel here . http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...8well-most!%29

After your done flashing and setting the rom location serives up.
Go back to the flash program and unselect everything except the kernel and on the right side of that click on the tab and browse to where ever you unzipped D33 latest kernel.

Select TV stick either hd (1080p) or sd (720p).
Put the stick back into flash mode and click run on the flash program.

Thats it its now good up to 1.6ghz.

Netflix Reboot stick after some time playing

Hi,
First I would like to thank neomode for this rom and d33 for the kernel.
My MK809III is running so good with the work of both.

But the only issue is with netflix. After sometime (about 40 minutes) he crashes and reboot my android stick. then start to reeboot with smaller time. Tested with others apps but crashes only with netflix.

Did someone have this issue? I tried others versions of this app but stiil crashed.

Could be heat related.
You can download no frills cpu controler and set it to run at a max of 1.4ghz and see what happens.

This way you get to use D33 kernel but reduce heat.

Thanks for the tip Magnus33. I'll try the downclock process and post the feedback


UPDATE: It's seens that work well. I did the downclock to 1.2 ghz and played netflix 2 hours straight without reboot.

this rom is fixing the staue/skipping frames while playing hd in XBMC ???
