Beyond XBMC has always used koyings code as a base as he knows exactly what he is doing with these rockchip devices. He is probably responsible for most of the android commits I see.

He should have a newer version up soon as I have seen a few fixes he has done over the last few days and no new version uploaded yet.

When I do release the next version of Beyond you can guarantee that is the base I will use as a starting point
And this will be the solution for everyone for sure, take your time, make good work,we will be happy to use beyond xbmc

I'm off on holidays for 2 weeks mate and things are constantly still being fixed in xbmc. I would honestly install koyings version or include it in your rom for the time being as it is far better for our devices than the official xbmc.
      To Infinity and Beyond.... XBMC

This won't work as an update... it was compiled with a different signature. To update it, backup your userdata... uninstall the old version... install the new, start the app once and close it... then restore your backup.

Hi daemonium, maybe you could update your version to avoid the need to uninstall previous version.

QS 3,1 + SPMC = perfect combo for the moment

                    Thx the advise

Also have the 10 min. freeze bug on 1080p.

SPMC has solved that problem, but.... No passthrough possible. I get white noise...

When passthrough disabled. I can get sound but not DD.

You need to change your build prob to match the minix for the time being.

                        Hardware : rk3
                        model : neo-x
                        To Infinity and Beyond.... XBMC

THANK YOU! I use the Logitech K700 keyboard and I just map this little app to one of the unused keys and voila! it puts it to sleep mode (blue light blinking)!

This will work for now until they officially support kitkat and the standard, stock sleep mode gets implemented (like in QS2) so it actually sleeps after idle time again .

Thanks again for this ROM and for that App recommendation!
                          ~Cheers guys!

Anyone know if we can map this app/button to the power button on the A2 remote?

                          Thanks

                            Can't find hardware....

                            Is it:
                            Ro. Product. Manufacturer
                            Ro. Product. Model

                            ??

is it possible to support the hfs file format (in a future update)? unfortunately i have a mac and no good solution for putting files from my mac onto an external drive which can be read by the x7. the first post states that the rom supports exfat. this would we perfect as osx can read/write exfat. but this seems not to be the case for me. also the hfs driver from paragon sucks. i can mount my drive in a root folder but xbmc can't read files from a root path (is this normal?). when i mount the drive in a folder in the internal_sd no file explore nor xbmc can find anything.

                              any suggestion? thx in advance.

I can't find it either. Maybe need to add a property? But what to call it? Or does it matter. I've changed the model to "Neo-X7-216A" but cannot find anything with "hardware" in the name. Maybe create "ro.product.hardware" and give it a value of....what...."rk3"? It doesn't appear to me that creating a new property would break things since nothing would likely be looking at it anyway. I'll give it a try and report back.
