ok i just extracted the kernel.img from kasty`s KK rom

Otherwise try pressing the reset button with a paperclip while you are in TWRP.

#407 OC kernel - energy saving

Hey Im new to the ROMs, and I was really anxious to do it. But I moved from stock 4.2.2 to 3.0 KitKat and used #407 OC kernel energy saving from FB page:

So far so good. Even the stock was lightning speed faster but now Im testing the OC 1704 low kernel.

What is the best Governor/Scheduler? Performance and battery saving wise?

Now I got interactive and cfq.


Ill report on the bugs as I use this speed demon some more

Ive read in this thread maybe "Gravity box" would help solving the localization problem. Can you provide a link to the software cuz I downloaded some game not a problem-solving software xD

Localisation works. I flashed to 2.7.2 and again back to 3.1 with oc kernel low.

I installed another launcher and it auto rotates now. Its a bit slower than default but maybe you guys will provide some better solution

Cant create new appointments in Google calendar, when I try this, Google login information is required, but "communication with Google Servers is not possible" is the answer. Tried for several times over days.

Witch launcher is installed now? I've tested Apex and Nova, and these are fast enough. The stock launcher had troubles right of the beginning.

Just tryed it, but I have no problems in adding or editting appointments. Maybe removing and then re-installing it, will solve your problem?

I have a Wifi only, so can't tell for 3G.
