Everything runs amazing!! But when i plug thr mele f10 pro. The video goes really really bad, and rhr audio dissapear. When i remove the mele dongle, inmediately everything goes fine again. Anyone knows why is this happening?

Because the stock firmware includes all the fixes/updates and tweaks from all the custom firmwares here.
Unlike rockchip the guys behind these devices have no problem giving credit to custom makers and including the improvements.

Use soundabout app and disable usbaudio or exchange audio_policy.conf in etc with rootexplorer with this one https://www.dropbox.com/s/u3npz5domu...io_policy.conf than set filepermission on new file to rw-r--r-- reboot ur box ......... Have fun with ur mele....... Fault is that android uses the audiooutput of ur mele

Dude, Oman works for Beelink so if they are now putting root in as stock, THEN IT IS STOCK!

Seems I may not have to do much for a custom ROM... But I see some things I can do

Do people still need 720P patch? Or are you using Oman's XBMC?

Finally got a chance to take this ROM apart and look at it.

Folks... NOW you see the value of Beelink working with people which is why they decided to come work with us! YEA BABY! Had Rockchip done this a long time ago, it would have been much easier.
BIG PROPS to Oman for working with the Dev's here on FreakTab

I have to say I am very proud of what I started here now and especially the Dev's that decided to make this a home to share! The fruit of all our labors is paying off now for YOU the users! I am SUPER HAPPY to see this!

Actually this is rooted the way I do it. Not sure why it says leolas but maybe he told Oman how vs him taking it from my previous ROMs. But we are a team here so I don't care where it came from! Neither here nor there I don't really care as it's pretty common and just happy to see it in a stock ROM!

No init.d added. So something for me to do

I see they used my buffer increases in init.rc (like Minix did) except in one area... Default buffer size.

Some interesting changes I see in this though
I have more poking around to do for sure....

Stay tuned I will be doing a ROM based on this, although not much left to do from what I use to do
Maybe time to start looking at other areas to improve now that I don't have to spend a lot of time adding what I use to

Looking forward to it. One very minor irritant, can't get rid of that pesky little screen capture icon down in the bottom tool bar. I uncheck it in the settings, but it keeps coming back. Also, is that file browser icon in the tool bar necessary?

Wait for my ROM for that. I think it's time to get rid of the file browser and make that a hide button for the bottom bar. So I agree. Minix did this to theirs but it's a mixed bag on if people like it.

BUG: you are correct, the snap shot settings don't "persist" to remove that from the bottom status bar.
Oman please take note. I will look at it also and see why.


MAN... this ROM really is very good based on my testing so far. I wish I did not have to work tomorrow and play with this more.

BUT I still ask.... 720P patcher? Since I don't have a 720P ONLY TV I do not know if this is still a problem? I know XBMC is fixed for this but as we all know some apps you all use still need true 720P. So I need to know if some still need this patch please.

Shocking how it never dawtned to rockchip that working with the people is so much easier then
against.

This way you have a huge base of testers and modders improving the code at no cost to youself.
Not to mention all the great word of mouth you get for doing so when it improves the product so quickly.

Now if they can get past the manufacturing defects that have popped up its going to make rock chip stand up and take notice how things are done

Thanks, this ROM is really great. Good performace etc.

I do have a question which is slightly off-topic. But I would like to know if it is possible to setup a Logitech Harmony remote with enabled Pause and Play buttons. I already configured my Harmony and have added the S82 as Tronsmart Vega S89. Thats working just fine. But the Harmony Play and Pause buttons are not working. The remote delivered with the device doesn't have this buttons so this might be the problem.

Has somebody a solution to enable the pause & play buttons on the Harmony?

I review the Harmony remote on Logitech website(http://www.logitech.com/en-us/harmony-remotes),there are kinds of.You mean which one?

OK,So you modify a *.kl file for this remote?And different Apps might have different way to handle Play/Pause function,for example 4K player/xbmc/mxplayer..

As I see it the stock firmware over time incorporates most if not all of the custom ROMs fixes and improvement. Just look at the stock ROM's release notes.

The advantage will be, if implemented, the ability to update the ROM without loosing installed apps and settings.

TWRP can figure this out?

I for one am very happy with these releases Bob rock chip is taking a beating since these boxes released, positive responses from all and you told them to watch out. I am positive thats why 3288 boxes being delayed as they still have issues they dont want to release. Nothing good comes from Thier tight cheeked policies! Feeling little pity for them afterTdump!

I noticed that there some discussions (in wassers ROM thread) about the missing functionality for live video stream (real time stream).

Oman, please can you tell us which version of Flash Player is used in KitKat, is it the original version from google or is it the already modified version like posted in xda developers forum (link but works only with dolphin + ff I guess).

Unfortunately google have removed some APIs so that live streams not working with KitKat (An imp who mean this was done without a hidden agenda)

Folks... understand why no Flash in KitKat! This has nothing to do with any makers of devices based on Android.

This is a decision made by Adobe Corp to stop development of Flash on Android. It was some kind of fight between Google and Adobe. You can google search it for the details.

But realize from Kitkat forward, Adobe FLASH is not supported anymore!

Can you get it to work on other browsers and hacked flash players for Android? SURE YOU CAN... But you cant expect a stock ROM to ever have it again!
