Is there any possible way to sync my chrome bookmarks with a working browser until a chrome fix/kernel came out?

You can sync your chrome bookmarks to any computer running chrome. Then you can use xmarks to sync them to just about any browser. Unfortunately, I think xmarks is expensive on Android

Using V1.0 2014528 stock , at the moment. What ROM is the screen shot from?

I was able to get this fixed by download another phototable.apk from https://github.com/JustArchi/ArchiPo...out/system/app and putting that file in /system/app and then rebooting.

You can root talk 9X by original recovery,no need PC,no need driver.

extract, and place the update.zip at sdcard(internalSD),then follow this.

Have tried this rooting tool on a brand new white 16GB device (with stock rom 1.8 / stock recovery) and it´s working perfect for me!!!

This is a real good way to root, if you want to stay with stock rom and stock recovery.
The update script installs SuperSu 2.01 and busybox also. Very nice!

Update!!!!

Strange, some apps are working (ES File Explorer has working root access for example)
But other apps like MobileUncleTools or Titanium Backup get no access to the sdcard.

Seems that SuperSu is causing the trouble.

So at the moment, it seems to be the best idea to use the 900Supersport rom to get a fully rooted Talk 9x.

Chris, have you managed to get titanium backup to work? Can all your apps access the sdcard0 and sdcard1 (if installed). I've not managed to fix this on my 32gb black version. Seen various problems with touchscreens ect so waiting out for further developments before a complete reflash. On stock v1.8 firmware.

Would be nice to change the apps storage ebr files I assume this requires a complete reflash and replacement of the stock recovery. Why do manufactures setout the storage in this way, my HTC one is just one big 32gb storage for apps and everything. Brought one of the kids an lg l40 that has the same problem with limited app partition too! Got round this to some extent on the tablet by using titanium backup to update the system apps such as gmail, playstore ect into the system ROM partition,,, but not framework services as this doesn't play nice breaks Google signin.

Thanks 900supersport, will this wipe all data? 4pda site looks good taking some decoding! Not managed to sign up yet! Platform.xml is mentioned to fix SD card access anyone have the mod'd version to compare? Also mod of framework.apk is mentioned to change min brightness ect

Can anyone confirm that this working on 32gb black?

One more question: I have some strange icons on tablet - they have some borders on different colours. Is it possible to get icons like for example on Samsung s4

Sorry, I'm not using TB so I can't help you with this.

But root access seems to be absolutely o.k.
With ES file explorer i have complete read/write access to system files and i can remove system apps also.

I haven't tried an external sd card so far. These are my first two hours with the tab.

But later I will do the necessary kitkat sd card fix and will test write access to an external sd card.

I will edit the platform.xml file manually, because sd card fix apps sometimes will not work.
(The apps tend to forget a linefeed in some cases, so the modification is not working then)

More on this later, want to play around with my new toy now

I've tried sdcard fix from the play store didn't work tb. Just looking on 4pda mentions adding <Group gid = "sdcard_all" /> to platform.XML

Enjoy the tab loving mine its great showing people at work, esp the price! :-)

I already ordered this tablet and i hope that it will arrive this week. It seems that this tablet is wonderfull, but the UI is not so good. Is there anyway to get MIUI Rom for this tablet? I saw that Ifive mini 3 already got MIUI v6, the same as Xiaomi Mipad.
