Hello...
I already ordered this tablet and i hope that it will arrive this week. It seems that this tablet is wonderfull, but the UI is not so good. Is there anyway to get MIUI Rom for this tablet? I saw that Ifive mini 3 already got MIUI v6, the same as Xiaomi Mipad.

I tried to port MIUI, I did not succeed. And now I have a dead touch. I will buy a new or a touch or a new tablet. It takes a long of time.

You can sync your chrome bookmarks to any computer running chrome. Then you can use xmarks to sync them to just about any browser. Unfortunately, I think xmarks is expensive on Android

chrome is not-so-good browser. i use firefox instead, it supports flash, crashes sometimes but is definitely better than chrome. use firefox...

What model of your dead touch tablet,32GB or 16GB ?

i'm currently running 900supersport's rom. the brightness is now much better to watch at night, and battery life does extend too, thanks Lepi for this!

dead gyroscope?

[ context: 32gb black ; this thread's rom ]
auto-rotation worked in the beginning but after some apps (Document viewer and/or FBReader) forced a specific orientation it isn't working anymore. I'm no even able to play racing games that depends on the orientation to steer.

Does anyone have any idea why and how to fix it ? rebooting doesn't fix it

One more question: I have some strange icons on tablet - they have some borders on different colours. Is it possible to get icons like for example on Samsung s4

you can change the layout and the icons style just by installing another Launcher (Apex, Nova, ...). I am using Apex (it's free on the PlayStore and doesn't require root : https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...launcher&hl=en ). It has a lot a customizing options, and a lot of skins are also available on the store (I use the default one, in Tablet mode, so it looks like the Samsung)

Hello 900supersport, I have already changed the "Default write Disk" option to the "SD card" but still no joy...
When i "move" an application with "Android assistant" for example, the only option i have, is to move the application to the "USB Storage", which is the build-in rom, not the SD card....
Any other idea ?

Hi,
Google has introduces several limitations since 4.3, and especially in Kikat :
- External SD card is not in write acces by default (it could be changed thanks to several apps, but which require root)
- it is not possible anymore to use an external SD to store apps data (if you set in the options the external SD by default, it will just store your camera pictures). You need to move your applications with FolderMount or Link2SD (or to swap your SD cards)
- Flash Player is not supported (Google has the same policy than Apple against Adobe Flash). To restore Flash, you should install a modified apk from Xda and use Dolphin browser
- The file structure has changed a lot. For example, the mouting file is hidden in the boot img and cannot be edited simply with a text editor

I'm still afraid to put 900supersport rom because of problem that some had with touch so i'm on stock. Of course that the problem of touch is not in that rom but....
