For me, the best cource of action in these cases is treat the problem as a 'bootloop' issue.
See the Wiki for details (just search for bootloop).
In short, you will have two files on de SDCard (recovery.img anf u-boot.bin). This will repair your bootloader. Worked fine for me where the '1.1.6 Android' way often would not.
Good luck!

How does this ROM compare to the one offered here - http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...penElec-on-EM8
I am asking because I am suffering a few lock ups on your Gotham ROM. Especially when updating the library while playing back music over my network.Last edited by Tyler Durden; 19 November 2014, 14:38.

CodecInfo in keymap
Does anyone know what I need to add in to keyboard.xml to enable CodecInfo on a button?
M8 square, rounded remote.
I'd like to get either the menu (3-lines button) or home button to bring up the CodecInfo overlay whilst playing video.
I've already addedCode:<backspace>Stop</backspace>
I've triedCode:<menu>CodecInfo</menu>
Code:<home>CodecInfo</home>
I'm not sure how to work out how those buttons are coded.

Wait for Network Option
Does anyone know if this option is working in this version?
Advanced Network Settings
Wait for network before starting XBMC
HTPCs which are running via SSDs can boot up OpenELEC too fast, resulting in the network part not being fully initialized inside XBMC. Enabling the option "Wait for network" usually fixes that. A value of 10-15 seconds is normally more than enough. This setting is also useful for people who are using a centralized, external MySQL database for their OpenELEC/XBMC clients.

BTW: codesnake; You can port android driver to your linux openelec? I think it is diffucult and hahrd job. But now future amlogic dvb-s2 and dvb-t2 devices coming with s812 soc. I think if everything on one box this boxes very usefull and nice.
