Go to Openelec settings and enable SSH access.
Then from your pc/mac run a terminal client, I use Putty in Windows.
Connect to your Openelec box using its IP address.
    Login with username: root
    Password: openelec
Then run the command that codesnake posted within the terminal.
    Hope this helps.
Thank you. I'll try this when I get home.

      Yup, been there too :-)
For me, the best cource of action in these cases is treat the problem as a 'bootloop' issue.
See the Wiki for details (just search for bootloop).

In short, you will have two files on de SDCard (recovery.img anf u-boot.bin). This will repair your bootloader. Worked fine for me where the '1.1.6 Android' way often would not.

      Good luck!

How does this ROM compare to the one offered here - http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...penElec-on-EM8

I am asking because I am suffering a few lock ups on your Gotham ROM. Especially when updating the library while playing back music over my network.

            CodecInfo in keymap

Does anyone know what I need to add in to keyboard.xml to enable CodecInfo on a button?
            M8 square, rounded remote.

I'd like to get either the menu (3-lines button) or home button to bring up the CodecInfo overlay whilst playing video.
            I've already added
            Code:
            <backspace>Stop</backspace>
to get the back button to stop video, so I know my keyboard.xml is working.

            I've tried
            Code:
            <menu>CodecInfo</menu>
            and
            Code:
            <home>CodecInfo</home>
            but they don't work.
I'm not sure how to work out how those buttons are coded.

              Wait for Network Option

Does anyone know if this option is working in this version?

              Advanced Network Settings

Wait for network before starting XBMC

HTPCs which are running via SSDs can boot up OpenELEC too fast, resulting in the network part not being fully initialized inside XBMC. Enabling the option "Wait for network" usually fixes that. A value of 10-15 seconds is normally more than enough. This setting is also useful for people who are using a centralized, external MySQL database for their OpenELEC/XBMC clients.
I am trying to set up a MySQL database and I don't think this setting is working on this ROM.

I don't quite understand how I can help you. This looks like a problem with addon, rather than with OpenELEC.

BTW: codesnake; You can port android driver to your linux openelec? I think it is diffucult and hahrd job. But now future amlogic dvb-s2 and dvb-t2 devices coming with s812 soc. I think if everything on one box this boxes very usefull and nice.
I have a m8 with your openelc the same version and work great the pulsar addons thanks.
