Ok, I see what you are referring to now. Since I am running OpenELEC, the OTA does not concern me. The USB to RJ45 does not make sense to me, both sticks have the same inputs and with my MK808B+ I am using a gigabit USB Ethernet Adapter. Perhaps they mean under Android, the firmware accepts different USB Ethernet adapters with the Tronsmart? I really have no idea. So I think what your question really is, does the added functionality for the Tronsmart stick justify the higher price?

I do feel the Mk808b Plus is one of the best values in hardware today considering it comes with a case, power supply, 8gigs Nand Flash and cables. I am going to order one for testing. Please consider making a Donation to freakTab

jellywobbles: ididmytime is right, by flashing a test release you might end up in a non-bootable device, although losing data is unlikely if you follow instructions from my post when reverting: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...144#post503144
csgabe sorry for that. I thought that what we needed was not including new NAND driver but I can now see that MK808B+ and TV110 need the new driver. After further testing, I realized that the only change we need to properly set MAC address is turning off a kernel feature named AML_NAND_KEY.
I posted a new test build:
https://github.com/kszaq/OpenELEC.tv...s/tag/5.0.8p12
Sorry for the lots of non working test builds recently but you have to realize that it's hard to make a build that would work for everyone with so many different devices.Last edited by kszaq; 30 May 2015, 18:42.

btw I tried your newest 5.0.8p12 version and that blue screen issue is now gone so that is awesome its working just like before except without wifi support hence the above files lol.

It's good value, however, why not go with the HD18Q? It's only a couple of dollars more, comes with a remote and more usb ports plus the option to use av output on older televisions. I got a few of these from aliexpress.com for 35 bucks U.S. These are the OTT MxQ. The cheapest I could find a MK808B Plus for was around 32-33 bucks U.S.D. OpenElec works wonderful and fast with these and the remote works fine as well, after you place the remote.cofig file in the config folder.

Here it is, but you have to get 20, still a good deal though, and they work perfect with your firmware after you put in the remote.conf file. Free DHL shipping too.
