Lollipop - Wasser Firmware for Beelink R89

Hi all,

Here is the deal after B6 for a couple a days:

NOTE: I just use the WASSER Firmware and KODI on my R89. Nothing else...

Resolution is not 4k (I believe Wasser already fixed this and it is coming on the next version)

SPDIF passtrhough not working. (actually I never had this on previous releases)

For some reason after a while my R89 had an error and it did not displayed image any more no matter what. I just enter into recover and deleted the cache.
It worked but KODI start not to play some movies (I felt strange because the image was not displayed in some previous movies that I had seen with this version before the crach. Some problem with codecs I suppose). I deleted KODI, installed it again but nothing.
Wasser released a KODI modified by him. I also installed this one because apparently it has a patch to solve the sync problem (I never had this issue but I installed anyway expecting to solve my codec problem). Problem remains and now from time to time when watching a movie the picture freezes (0,5 seconds). I'm expecting Beta7 to install a fresh new ROM...

CONCLUSION:
Out of this error that happen with my box (I cannot really cannot say it was from the firmware since I have to little 'deamons' at home always playing with my remote controls...) the ROM seems very stable.
The Passtrough never worked before so it is not a new BUG...
The 4K issue I believe it is already solved on the next release.

Thank you for your support on the new firmware.

My device:
Beelink R89 2G/16G
PCB ver 3.0
1080P@60Hz
Gigabit Ethernet
FW 3.0 beta 6

No stuttering at all for the playblack(USB) of my video by MX player(HW+).
But I have found some minor issues after updated the firmware.

1)
TV box cannot be woken up in sleep mode by the stock IR remote. And there is no response for any button of the IR remote after I pressed the power button of the box to wake up the device. Will it be related to the process (IR listening) is killed in sleep mode? The IR remote is responsible again after restarted the device.

2)
The "move cursor" function from the stock IR remote is not working.

3)
"Setting" => "USB" => "Connect to PC" cannot be turned OFF.
It will be turned ON again after OFF.

4)
TVBox cannot be detected by the software RKRemoteControl(ver 2.0.4@Note2 kitkat) that from Rockchip. Both phone and TVBox are in the same network. I have checked that eHomeMediaCenter from the box is working. Will it be related to software compatibility issue from Lollipop?

In my beelink 2G/8GB is not possible change of Beta 5 to Beta 6, AndroidTool.exe fail in change for mode download, using the buton of sound out not turn to downlod mode.
Any app for this?

Hold button inside audio jack, pull out power cable, keeping button pressed replace power cable, continue to hold button for approx 3 seconds. Now flash rom as usual.

I opened the beellink and see in final of te audio jack the button. Worked.

thank you wasser for all the effort..... you deserve to be called the god of roms......
this might sound noob , but just wondering ; since i'm still using your old rom with kitkat should i first upgrade my firmware from kitkat to lollipop and then use your rom ? or proceed with your lollipop rom (while still being on kitkat) and it'll do the upgrade from kitkat to lollipop ?

Flashing the new rom will wipe and write a whole new rom. No need for any extra updating.

My netflix not play video stop in loading and my popcorn time not initialize video. "Fail in use codec by hardware" mxplayer codec souve this item?

beta 6.
fail with hadware mxplayer.fail with rkplayer.dts and dolby not pass through.I couldn't play any mkv file with rkplayer and with mxplayer switch on sw and have alot of stutter in playing file.I've amp teac ag-d500.

Any problem in play vídeos in netflix? In beta 5 and 6 not play vídeos.
