    Thanks.
I was doing something last night with the box and a few things happened that were reminiscent of the Rockchip. So I dived in with both feet.

On a seperate note, has anybody a decent app installer app for this box? And a link to a decent widget Digital Clock?
I've tried a few from the play store and they weren't very good.

    Lol

I did wonder why you asked but I can see the potential link now.

What does the default package installer not do that an app installer can do for your particular needs?

There was no package installer on the last build for me, and the other one only installs one app at a time.
Also I can't seem to install an old modified build of a new version (bit of a mouthful) of a Kodi build called Soweboi. It has some features I like and I have my backup to install in with it.

The widget clock is just a feature I was too lazy to look for

I've tried extracting app installer 1.01 from other boxes and they wouldn't install either.. I've tried Aptoide, Blackmart, and any sites I could think of..

I bought that Beelink X2 TV Box for playing Youtube videos and I have one strange issue. I had one assumption - everything must be controlled using bundled remote controller (no mouse, AirMouse, etc.) Therefore I installed "Youtube for Google TV" application (play store said that it is incompatible with that TV Box but I backuped that app on other TV Box using ES File Explorer and installed it on Beelink X2 from .apk). Everything in Youtube working properly except Back (Return) button which makes using it impossible. This is strange because on my other TV Box (Tronsmart Vega S89-H) there are no such problems with that app. Is there any chance to fix it?

You can use a mouse/airmouse with just about any android box.

As I wrote - my assumption is to controll Youtube app with bundled remote controller. TV Box will be used by older people who will not be able to use AirMouse. "Youtube for Google TV" app can be controlled by a normal remote controller (what I checked on my Tronsmart Vega S89-H with Android 4.4.2 and exactly the same remote controller) but on Beelink X2 there is that strange issue with Back (Return) button. I think that this can be kind of "key mapping" problem in Android OS and maybe it can be fixed somehow?

Hello guys! Can you help me please?! I read and watched many reviews but most of you have this box so you can give me a real feedback!!
I'm going to buy the Beelink x2 because is one of the cheapest tv box right now but before I would like to know if is possible to:
              - studying through pdf files (150mb+)
              - smooth 720p and 1080p on youtube
              - playing hearthstone
              - downloading things with bittorrent

I'll use it for studying on my big tv! Is it ok for me or I should go for some other stronger boxes?

I have a sunchip H3 box and have had problems with the display settings. It seems the firmware defaults to 720p 50hz that is not supported by 3 of my TVs. The firmware fails to auto-detect the correct HDMI settings and switch it for the TV it is connected to. I have to connect it to a TV that does support it and manually change the display to 60 hz for it to work on the other TVs. I tried flashing the Tronsmart Draco and the Beelink firmware from this post and both also have the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem? If so do you know a fix for it on the firmware?

Is your tv giving you a message that this ressolution is not supported. if so I am getting the same message and as of yet haven't found a tv that will work with it in order to change the setting.

I'm mostly happy with the device. It's quite stable and smooth, fast (compared to others I've had). There is one serious problem - wifi speed. It's terrible. This little beast badly needs an external antenna. It barely makes 5Mbits where my phone and notebook are at 150 Mbits.

It makes thing with Internet and streaming video very hard. Is there a hardware mode we can make at home to fix this ? Is anyone lese experiencing the same ?

I don't own this box, but I saw someone who resolved this problem on a different box, by changing the WiFi channel in their router. Maybe it will help you.
                      Good luck.

Always worth trying something like this to see what is the best channel to use.

Sure, I've done this already. And I've found the best channel.

The thing is that I have other devices that work just fine with the channel I'm using. I'm comparing the X2 with them...

There are some nice H3 boxes like Zidoo,Draco,Sunchip,Beelink. We must to check which SW is the best.

I think thet Zidoo have best SW,but they have some stupid system which check your MAC address in order to use WI-FI.Can someone to remove thet stupid thing?

Zidoo have the best verified Antutu,CF-Bench and 3D mark.

If someone want to try Sunchip sw i will send link via PM.
I saw where someone has a solution for getting the X1 F/W to run on other H3 devices. If you are still interested, I'll find the link. I don't think it was difficult to do.
