In Kodi, audio is out of sync by 325ms, sometimes 625 (approx).
Does anyone else have same problem, and maybe manage to solve it?
Kodi is latest one, 15.1.1 and I did not change firmware.
Edit: Its out of sync with streaming videos, I did not test it with local files. For example, youtube addon have that problem, as any other that I tried. With MX player as external player in Kodi, everything works fine. But MX player is not solution for me, without subtitle addons.Last edited by komicar; 05 September 2015, 20:29.

They know full well that this box comes bundled with issues, and they're hoping the greater community can fix what they couldn't. No doubt if a good firmware or linux distro is released for this box, they'll mark their brand name on it.
Bad form Beelink.
I have used all the firmwares that I have found and they all have that or a smilar problem. The 103k4 firmware didn't seem bad initially. -
I have the above tweaked firmware installed and it's out of sync, I'm going to try it with all of the display sizes and see if the problem is consistent.
Also the Zidoo X1 image, but I don't hold much hope.
TRIGTOP
- Are there any more builds on the way that address these issue do you know?
It's like all of the nonsense with the Nufront NS115 all over again

I'm going to try the kodi-zidoo build from the link and hopefully that will address most of the issues in kodi.OrangePI-2 with ZIDOO X1 image ,OrangePi

I can offer you band-aid solution for sync problem, my simple add-on for Kodi. It waits for video streaming to starts and then increase audio delay for +325ms.
That is quick and dirty solution, it does not check your current delay, just increase it for +325 ms. If you already changed your delay in Kodi, return it to 0. Also, I noticed that over time (hours) delay increase. My solution - when you finish with Kodi, power off your box, or restart it before you use it again
Also, i created text file x2remote.xml in folder: /sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/keymaps/
with following lines:
Code:<keymap> <global> <keyboard> <key id="61489">audiodelayminus</key> <key id="61490">audiodelayplus</key> </keyboard> </global> <fullscreenvideo> <keyboard> <key id="61568">volumeup</key> <key id="61569">volumedown</key> </keyboard> </fullscreenvideo> </keymap>
Download add-on from link below, and install in Kodi with menu options "/System/Settings/Add-ons/Install from zip file"
Edit: I forgot important thing, if you want to change default delay, go to folder:
/sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/addons/service.kodi.audiooffset/
and edit file default.py
Change line "AudioOffsetCounter = 13"
13 is multiplier for audio offset, in 25 ms steps. So, default value 13 is equal 13x25ms=325ms.
Put any positive integer there: 10 for example represent delay of +250ms.
Restart Kodi.
If you dont need add-on anymore, disable it or uninstall it from Kodi menu:
/System/Settings/Add-ons/My Add-ons/Services/Audio Offset
I hope it will be useful for someone...Last edited by komicar; 11 September 2015, 04:41.

Thanks komicar.
I'll patch them for now, but not impressed with beelink.
But it should be a good reference for future. When a company is linked to, but not putting their name to something, best not to expect anything out of it... i.e. don't buy it.
This box can't hold a candle to the S805 devices imo.
Openelec/similar pricing/better support...
I feel bad for ever thinking this box looked good.

The thing is that I have other devices that work just fine with the channel I'm using. I'm comparing the X2 with them...
What about the result?
(Wifi thoughput and signal is the first item we had to be confirmed before starting a project, and we had not found it was abnormal. )
thanks.

Sorry for the bad performance of KODI at H3. We had found this weak point before starting H3 project, and Allwinner promised will try they best to cooperate with us to fix XBMC bugs.
KODI problems must be fixed and we will add some patchs in the next images.
Best regart to my friend Turvy.
thanks
