Box I received has root,
Not a lot of Junk on it (apps I don't need) Kodi 14.2 installed with some extras.
Working OK, found that after 20-30 minutes bit of a pause and loading
so may have been getting a little buffering, worked fine except for the pauses, 5 dropped frame.
More testing
From the few tests I have done this day and for what it is and the price you would have to be happy with one these.
Netflix OK (No HD) WIFI speed fine
I did the Build prop tweak to change res to 1080 looks much better
Now looking to update: Version: android4.4.2_104k4_1080p
Update found and PhoenixSuit followed instructions and all is fine. Loaded OK, Thanks TRIGTOP
Now its 1080 looks much better
Still snappy as before .
More reloading and testing

Just another funny Q comming from complete idiots using the gadget i gave the box to;
how to setup the system in order to shutdown it after the single "off" button click on the
remote, or - more important, after pressing the physical one - on the box itself?
people familiar with tv/dvd sets are used to turn off the gadget after pressing the off button -
no confirmation "your phone is about to shut down, are you sure?", no second thoughts -
just kill all?
hopefully it's just some setting somewhere...

Got a PM from Dizet asking for a TWRP port.

He tested and it's working with one thing left to fix, External SD isn't mounting. If someone could edit this image and correct it great, or else provide the mount point for the External SD

abdul_pt I had to sell my box. My friend wanted it too much
I will get my new one tomorrow and will try to get you the mount points. Otherwise all worked. The only issue was with mounting external sd but usb mounted without issues. Thanks again for your help.

There are some nice H3 boxes like Zidoo,Draco,Sunchip,Beelink.We must to check which SW is the best.
I think thet Zidoo have best SW,but they have some stupid system which check your MAC address in order to use WI-FI.Can someone to remove thet stupid thing?
Zidoo have the best verified Antutu,CF-Bench and 3D mark.

if you turn off wifi and the network in settings then restart the box it will all stay working offline. i don't see anything that needs to connect to zidoo to run.Originally posted by plasma View Post

from usb stick. if you check settings, about device. right at the bottom it has a serial and a code, i have never seen anything like this before, so i looked at changing the mac on my device to a zidoo x1 mac, but have no time to start it at the min.Comment
