Hello guys.
In order to install TWRP we just flash it with the Rashr tool?
Or do we need to put the box in some special mode when booting?
Regarding SAMDE's mod: I have the 3gb version.
Do I still use this file:This is the only file on SAMDE's server so I'm not sure if it's the correct one or not.update_2GB_3GB.zip
Thanks.Last edited by gabb; 07 June 2017, 07:26.

Hello Guys, i'm new in the forums. Here I'm because my x92 2/16 is bicked.
I was watching a movie and the device freeze at all, so I reboot it and never pass the logo (freezes in many stages) So, I go to recovery and format cach (don't work) then go to full restore (nup again!) so I download from chinesse page the original firmware to 2/16 version. Put it in a usb stick and from the recovery try to install from the zip. But when installing, freeze at all again and my devices never boot again.
On the second time, can get link between my pc and the device shorting the pins (... photo attached)
Thanks, really!!!!!

Hello!
I just got my X92 last week. I love the device, but I have a little problem. The device automatically "powers off" when I switch to a TV channel and back.
Example, I am on the X92 main menu. The device is on "input 1" on my TV. When I choose a local TV channel, say, ESPN, and then go back to "input 1" which is my X92, the device goes to "power off", and then shuts down. This always happens when I change channel from X92, to a TV channel. Even if I switch only for a few seconds, and then immediately return to X92.
Please help.
Thanks.

Hello,
Anyone of you guys here experience the same problem I have about the X92 automatically turning off when switching channels? I have turned off "daydream", and cannot find any setting for "power" or "battery". Here's a link to a video I've taken of the issue I encounter.

please help.
Thanks

Example: Let says you have 2 input in your TV. Inpute1 is normal tv (Antenna), 2nd Input is X92 android box
1) Turn on the TV and Turn on X92 and switch right away to Input2 before X92 reach to the home screen.
2) Wait about 1 min on Input2 and you will see X92 home screen.
3) Now without doing anything on Input2 (x92), switch to Input1 (normal TV antenna mode). Wait about 5 seconds on Input1.
4) Go back to Input2 (X92) and you will see "Shutting down" on Input2 (X92). Android box will shutdown. wtf....
5) Change back to Input1 (TV Antenna mode)
6) Turn off the TV.
So here: Your TV and x92 android box is off.
7) Turn on the TV (you are on Input1), do not power on the x92 or switch to Input2 (x92)
Actual result: You are on Input1 and the X92 Turn ON it self (You can see the clock is on the x92). wtf...
8) Wait about 2 minutes so X92 can boot complety
9) Now, just switch the Input2 (x92), you will "Shutting down" message on x92 and the X92 box shutdown...wtf...
I always remove the power adaptor after finish watching X92, otherwise when i turn on the TV, the x92 it will turn on. I dont know if there is any fix. I'm using the latest firmware.

A list of changes compared to stock kernel - HERE
No reflashing required.
The kernel boots off either a USB stick or a SD card.
Copy the files for your model into the root of a stick/card, insert it into X92 and reboot with the button inside the AV jack pressed with a match.
Hold the button pressed for relatively long time (10-20 seconds). If your USB stick has an activity LED, you can release the match as soon as it starts flashing, indicating read.
If anything goes wrong, just remove the card/stick and reboot, and you get exactly your old Android without any changes.
If you like the new kernel and want to boot it without having to press the button in the AV jack, there's a instruction how.

I need to connect a hard disc with NTFS partition. Don't know if there are ntfs kernel modules for x92
Came across a thread at xda about ntfs-3g.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho....php?t=1724078
As you already have the build environment set, could you please help the x92 community by getting the ntfs-3g fuse module on x92.
Thanks in advance.

X92 kernel AFAIR has built-in readonly ntfs support (the kernel ntfs fs, not the user-mode ntfs-3g).
However, it's perfectly possible to use ntfs-3g with it, but you'll have to mount it manually (or from init.d) as the android automounter doesn't know ntfs-3g. However, it should know ntfs, so you'd better give it a try in default configuration.
your problem might be related to GPT or DynamicDisk partition table, but I don't have such media, so you'll have to experiment yourself. Kernel side, stock kernel supports GPT and my kernel build supports both GPT and DynamicDisk, but I don't know how it plays with Android.
