    Hello everyone,

    Just new here.
So i have a question regarding the X92.
I would like to connect it to wifi to my route for internet access.
And throught ethernet to my NAS.
So i tried to give it a static IP address on the ethernet one.
    But i don't think it's working.
    I can't access my nas.
Could you enlight me how to make this happen please ?
Also when i launch Kodi, i go check the info and details, and in the network one it show up only the wifi ip address.
So i guess setting my static ip address for my ethernet port didn't work.

How may i do this ?

    Thanks for your replis guys

I think you need to remove the ethernet cable before the WiFi will be working properly.

        Well, i did try this.
To configure the wifi first and then give a static IP on the ethernet.
But then when i launch kodi i can find only the IP address of the wifi...

Ok misread your post. It's ethernet problem not wifi problem.
          Check cable, loose connection etc.

            it's okay
I did to do only the wire cable, straight to the box : i got internet
I did straight to the nas + given static IP address : doesn't work
Also it never asks me for a mask... only IP address, gateway, length (24), dns1 dns2 and that's it

I got your mean~, i have tried to search youtube tv box version, it seems that the google play is not recognizing my x92 as a tv box but a mobile or something else and saying the youtube tv box version wont fit to my device...

then i tried to download the tvbox youtube from website and force to installed it ,the lastest version. Eventually, the lastest tv version youtube is not working either...

meanwhile, i just found another issue, my x92 is not being considered as a tv box?.. is that also happening to your box? or could you please tell me what version (with detail) of rom are you using?

I am using stock x92 android 7.1.2 version. Yeah the playstore version cannot be loaded. But the sideloaded version youtube for TV version 2.01.04 is working for me.
But OS is not completely stable. I am thinking to switch to 7.1.2 from vasily.

At the beginning I wanted to apologize for my English (I use an interpreter)
                  I have X92 3gb / 32gb.
It was Ok, but I wanted to update the software and after the update was dead.
the logo is lit but the display is dark.
How to bring him back to life?

I am using android 7.1.2. So far all of the 7.1.2 firmware has no problem running youtube 2.01.04.
Whether you can download youtube for tv, it depends on the build.prop inside your ROM. Most firmware cannot download youtube for tv directly from play store.

Likely due to upgrade of supersu. Need find the supersu 2.82 zip file and install it using TWRP. It will be okay.

Check out this site. Some links are dead but still can download different flavor of Roms.

Hey guys, I have this same box and the wifi isn't working on it, I'm trying to flash it with a new firmware to see if it will fix the problem. I have it hooked up to my PC, but there is no button to force it in to recovery mode. I tried a toothpick in the AV hole, but nothing, I don't even feel a button in there. Any other ideas on how I can flash this? Thanks

Maybe you want to open up the box, could be seller shortchanged you and sold you some other boards embed inside the x92 casing.

You could see that there is a "stopper" kind of thing behind the AV port, that's the reset switch.

Thanks for the reply. I actually bought 2 of these boxes online and both have the same exact problems. The wifi connected to my home network but it's extremely intermittent, it connects and disconnects every 2-3 seconds. I tried factory resetting them but it made no difference. My last attempt is to do the firmware update.

Do you guys have recommendations for the best firmware? I downloaded the one here - https://www.entertainmentbox.com/x92...re-download-2/

I'm not even sure which img file to use, in the update folder, there's several img files (boot/bootloader/dtb/logo/recovery).

I opened the box and I do see the reset button, I think the pin I used wasn't thin or long enough to reach it, so I reset it while the box was open and I can now get in to recovery mode. But, when I have the USB Burning Tool opened, it will show connect success at bootup, but when it enters recovery mode, it disconnects. With a few attempts though, while hitting the reset button, the box would sometimes just freeze on the x92 splash screen, and it shows connect success in the usb burning tool. Do I flash the box at this stage where the x92 splash screen is frozen?

Sorry noob here, first time doing all this, don't want to mess it up even more. My last solution to get this going is to use the ethernet and something like the tp-link TL-wr802n as someone else in the thread suggested, but for a bit more I could just toss these out and buy new boxes.

                                Thanks
