The wifi and display will not work as somebody already commented.

After that you can boot using my boot image using the '3 file method' on sdcard. Then you will have a working wifi, working front display on ugoos am3 firmware. This is not something I have tested before, purely based on my "extrapolation" of how thing works. Try it at your own risk.

Use the latest boot.zip in the mega link posted earlier. As you seem to be using the older one (based on the fact that your twrp is 3.2.1 instead of 3.1.1).

If the combination works, you can then later considered writing into the flash for booting without sdcard.

Thanks but guess I'm gonna give that one a miss.

First of all there is no guarantee that the 7.1.2 Ugoos firmware even will work, as I assume that otherwise it would have been mention on the 4PDA forum thread.

Secondly, with the boot image I'll probably will have the same issue that my storage isn't detected. Also I think for Kodi and TV apps, which is the main purpose for this box, 7.1.2 has more issues than 6.0.1

If you read my post I made at the same time you were posting, you can see what solution I resorted to, and may suggest other options to reach the same result.

I'm only a fan of the Ugoos port because it improves the performance of the box significantly over the stock 7.1.2 firmware

What are the evidences of the Ugoos port in Android 6 has higher performance over the stock 7.1.2 ?

The stock X92 7.1.2 runs sluggish, some apps not working at all, others working partly, running close to 80°C after 1 hour in Kodi ( Ugoos 67°C).

        Do you need more evidences?

If you're talking about the Stock Ugoos I don't know, I don't think that can be flashed to a X92 without issues, but correct me if wrong.

Sluggish is a vague word. Never encounter apps not working issues except for certain launchers. High temperature none issue for me ever since added a fan. The hottest it ever gets to is 55 deg.

Never tried any Ugoos firmware because simply no motivation. Maybe it is good but not important to me for now.

            Hi.

If I remember well, when I ordered my X92/2/16 box - In 11-2016 - I read that it will be the possibility to upgrade to Nougat in the future.
Is i true, or it will remain just a promise.

There is nougat firmware for x92 2g.

What make you say it is not available ?

Or you only consider ota firmware as firmware ? Usb burning tool firmware are not ?

If you read the Russian forum, the ROM/firmware page is always appearing in the first/top post.

Whether it is good or no good, nobody is going to guarantee that. You have to try it yourself.

I read this forum too and I am waiting for somebody's answer who has a working 7.0.firmware for 2/16 GB.

This is also a good idea to try it something, maybe it will be good, but not for me.

I don't want to make brick my box. I think your box is not 2/16.

You are not waiting for a ROM to exist. You are actually waiting for someone to try it and let you know.

There is no reason why one needs to go for Android 7, except for he just want to get updated and try newer thing.

Many feedback says Android 6 is better.

I found that teamviewer quick support doesn't work on the Ugoos rom.

When I later read the change log from the Ugoos 7.1.2 firmware, it also says " fixed quick support remote control".

So I flashed again the stock 6.0, then applied the 7.1.2 December 11 OTA.

Changed the build properties to force landscape, and that fixed the issues with the apps that didn't work on the stock rom.

This firmware also runs about same temperature as the Ugoos, so happy for now :-)

While editing the build properties I see something strange, mainly saying fota S905X.

Can someone explain what that means?

Hi, I have flashed to 1.1.4 on X92 (A6). I get an error when doing online OTA updates - is there a download that you used to get Ugoos 7.1.2 upgrade? Also, does it need to be ported from the official Ugoos files? That is my sense given mention of port on 4PDA.

                                Thank you
