Did anyone had the box since its Android 6.0 version? If so, did it have the same problem with shutting down and then reseting again? I want to figure out if it's a software or a hardware problem.

Yes I did and the box did shutdown properly using the remote (red button, top left). The box still shuts down properly using the same button on the remote with FT's ROM 7.1.2.

For the ROM transfer software I used 'Rockchip Batch Tool v1.08' and for the drivers I installed 'Rockchip Driver Assistant v4.5'

Thank you. I’ve tried again using the same batch tool as well as tried androidtool...same thing, still failing at loader stage. Is it possible I don’t have a loader? Can I attempt to flash or boot with SD? I have a class 10 card. What tools do I need and how? Pls help me

Are you getting enough power to the device to burn
I have seen that poor quality USB cables, using Front USB ports or laptops can give grief with failure to burn..
just thoughts...

Worse case do a warranty advise it failed during and update.

mine came with andriod 6. updated to 7 using this link-- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vr4W-ufPD6o then found no sound and only resolution 864 x 864 in in the kodi display setting . after alot of around it didn't like my sony TV contection. Hoked into a samsung smaller tv and all good . (had a heap of resolution to pick from. Plugged the HDMI into my amp and all good with the sound on sony TV. Its trial and error. run the driver before using the factory tool. cool box.

only power light goes on...computer does not recognize....last error message said something to the effect that "IDE loaded error" I was trying to install the lastest Yundoo Y8 firmware on my H96 Max...

I also had the brick, the PC didn't see the console, restored in the following way: open FactoryTool combine the console with the computer, press the held-reset, connect the power and close the contacts after the circuit FactoryTool saw my box and I successfully flashed.

Hi. Please help me understand. What exactly did you do and using which version of applications and firmware. Also, what OS is your PC running?

Updated the firmware as usual to the computer and saw a box it is necessary to close the contacts which are marked on the photo. win10, FactoryTool v1.4.1, Driver Rockchip USB
