Hey guys

I just came back to working on my H96 Pro+ after a long delay. I did a fresh install of SCV7A (flash of V4A first then OTA to V7A). It all looks really good, and awesome to see ChromeCast Built In. Great work superceleron .

But I have a big problem: I can't install most of my Catch UP TV apps. BBC iPlayer, All 4, ITV Hub, UKTV Play, and more. They all say "your device isn't compatible with this version".

EDIT: I have instead used Aptoide and been able to install a number of the apps I wanted. I have installed BBC iPlayer, All 4, My5, ITV Hub and UKTV Play.

EDIT 2: Actually it might have been very simple - my region settings. I had Language: English (US). I changed it to English (UK) and now if I uninstall the Aptoide versions of apps (eg BBC iPlayer) I can install them via Play.

Simple as that, duh! There's still a couple of apps that say not compatible, eg Amazon Shopping, but they are not apps I need right now.

have this box from gearbest (green pcb) and installed SCV4

Since the beginning (without custom ROM) have the box stucked on the logo at the boot after 4-5 usages. I hoped to solve it by installing the SCV4 ROM but the problem is not fixed.
Only a factory reset can let the box work properly but after 4-5 usages it again gets stucked on the boot logo.

How can i solve it? It doesn't seem to be a ROM problem...

Obviously you are doing one and the same mistake every time (installing something or smth. else, I don't know). Do nothing after the factory reset to see how many times the box will start without sucking on boot logo.

In order to solve the problem of my post #2304 i did the following:
- factory reset and e reinstall scv4 through usb burning tool --> didn't change anything
- wipe everything (included internal storage) and reinstall thorugh sd burn card maker --> bricked the device, blue light didn't turn on when connecting to power source. I solved it by following http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...ck-help/page10 and reinstalling this old rom https://mega.nz/#F!d1tHVZgA!Qc0mAom7FBHT9HDv3rGtGQ, will see if in the next days i will re-encounter the same problem at boot.
